    Would definitely recommend Armstrong Removal. They removed all my belongings from my London flat, kept in safely in their storage and then delivered it to my new Bristol house after we completed. It was so convenient! Perfect service so thank you team!

    We've been let down at last minute by another home removal company and George & Kelly have been tremendously formidable with their reactivity and their comprehension.They made themselves available in less than 24 hours, accepted to help us moving on a Sunday and have completed the operations very quickly.I definitely recommend their services and won't hesitate to require their help for any further query I may have in the future.

    We were moving at the end of June so this was never gonna be simple. As it turned out we exchanged on 28th and completed on 29th. This made it incredible difficult for us to confirm the move until the very last minute. This posed a significant problem as we were moving a four bedroom house and the stuff we had in storage.George and his team were brilliant, helpful and flexible. Can't rate them highly enough.If you're looking for a trustworthy and reliable removals firm, choose Armstrong.

    George and his team carried out the job quickly and efficiently, packing, transporting, storing, and delivering all our belongings in perfection condition.At the beginning of the process George carried out a detailed quoting process, ensuring the quote was accurate and realistic, avoiding any last minute costs when arriving at the job. The team also found an important piece of jewellery that had been missing for over 3yrs, delivering it as a surprise on our moving in day. Thank you! We will be repeat customers.

    This family run business understands a bespoke service. My house contents were inspected several times before the move to ensure that the quote and van provided would be correct. Also, on the day, George and Harry were very soothing and efficient. Together a stressful day was made swift and full of good humour. Many of my friends and family were in awe in how fast the move ended up being.
    Would highly recommend.

    Moving is always a stressful time but Armstrong’s were brilliant. They worked so hard and were very careful with all our belongings. Especially a delicate glass cabinet I’ve had for years. They are friendly and efficient. Highly recommend

    From our initial contact with George, we found him to be very personable and interested in us as people. Armstrong Removals offered us a very competitive price with which we were very pleased considering that many of the bigger removal companies had charged a price that we thought was unreasonable. We were also very relieved that Armstrong Removals were able to accommodate us with reasonably short notice. When making enquiries about our removal on the phone, we spoke with Kelly, whom we found to be friendly and professional. On the day of the removal, two friendly members of staff worked quickly and carefully when packing our belongings. These two were thereafter joined by other members of the team who loaded their vans quickly at the property and unloaded quickly at our new property. Thank you, Armstrong Removals!

    Great team, George was perfect (family of 4 Inc 2 kids with me having a bad back) they managed to help pack a bit (due to me having a bad back) and move us to our new house, didn't even want to stop for a cuppa until I made him.
    Great, friendly service, answered questions I had even though it was late - will definitely use this company again 10*

    Armstrong Removal provided a packing and moving service for our 75 mile move from London to Milton Keynes.
    We couldn't be happier with the service provided, everyone we dealt with was friendly and worked efficiently.
    We had 2 people come to pack our belongings 2 days before our move, and then in the morning of the move George turned up with 4 others to load the boxes into the vans, transport it to our new property, and unload it into the appropriate rooms at the other end. This included disassembling and assembling furniture at both ends. They started loading at 9am and were completely done by 5pm, giving us the evening to relax and plan the week ahead.
    We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for anyone looking for a safe set of hands to help with a move!

    Quick and efficient , one of the movers cut his hand but still kept working , probably need to be a bit more ready with equipment as had to keep requesting to put a blanket or some sort of covering o the carpet stairs but none the less good service and very good economical

    They ran out of boxes and time, even though they had visited us for an assessment.

    Dear Nina,I'm sorry you were not completely satisfied. I under estimated how much packing there would be. Even after delivering fifteen large boxes prior to your move for your personal belongings to be self packed, myself and my team of four movers/packers packed over a hundred boxes on the day. As you can appreciate this process is slow and takes a lot of time and care, especially the fragile packing. (Kitchen)We also dismantled and reassembled several beds, as well as other large items of furniture. We also moved your entire two bedroom flat including some items that were not shown to me during a home survey.We then encountered a very small lift where we were limited to how much we could fit into it, many items were carried up the stairs to the second floor due to the lift being slow.We worked all day non stop from 8am without even a tea break. We worked extremely hard on your move, having to deal with parking issues as well.I feel that eight hundred pounds for all of the above was very good value for money and that because I was no more than five boxes short to complete the packing I feel your comments are unjust.I'm sorry if we caused any inconvenience to you for us having to come back to complete the agreed work.Kind regards George

    We had a less that satisfactory service. they made our move so much more stressful that it needed to be. It was a huge disappointment as we chose this company to support smaller, local businesses but ended up regretting that choice. Prior to quote they visited the house- then a second visit was made after we'd confirmed them - they had full access to all areas of the property and items that were going with us and were aware of the storage unit too - so full disclosure. Despite those two visits they still turned up with insufficient vehicles - within 20 mins of being at the house they began to tell us they wouldn't be able to take the house items let alone the storage - and that we had not been clear about the amount of belongings we had. The day continued with a succession of disagreements and accusations that wore us down - we ended up paying extra for transport of the storage unit just to get the job done and not have to argue anymore. it was exhausting, upsetting and wholly unprofessional.

    I booked Armstrong after Kelly came round to survey my house and told me the price they quote is the price you pay, no last minute surprises on the day. They were the cheapest quote I had (although the others were nowhere near the double that they keep telling me I would have to pay for another firm!)On the day George arrived with small vans (which surprised me given I was moving a large 3 bed house), and told me that I had a lot more stuff than the quote allowed for! I obviously argued this with them as Kelly had been round my entire house and I hadn’t shipped anything in just to move it!! We agreed to get everything moved and discuss later.They didn’t finish until 8.30pm because it took so many trips to move my stuff due to the small vans; luckily I was moving into storage and didn’t have a time limit to be out of my house.We spoke on the phone later and he told me that the cost should be double the quote which he started claiming was based on 60 boxes. Lesson learnt, get a detailed quote (all the other firms had provided a quote with a volume specified, Armstrong simply gave me the £ amount and I assumed it covered everything). We agreed on a price between my quote and double! Kelly had mentioned the average 3 bed had 60 boxes which I had said wow I don’t think I’ll have that much and she had said I would be surprised when I started packing. However there was no mention that was my limit in the number of boxes they would move for the quote.Before the move into storage I had booked in the second stage of the move as I had my completion date (and paid for both legs), after the call with George I had then paid the extra for both legs. I assumed I had a confirmed date, and felt that by paying them i had secured this. You might wonder why on earth I would use them for 2nd stage, the reason being if anything was damaged I didn’t want the hassle of 2 different removal companies claiming it had been the other one who had caused it.2 weeks before the move into the new house I emailed to ask what time I should meet them at storage, they replied they didn’t have availability and 2 days later was earliest they could do. I spoke to them and did lose my temper unfortunately. they agreed to refund me but made me out to be unreasonable not to be willing to live in my new house with no furniture or possessions for 2 days. They also told me the date had been provisional and I should have confirmed with them. Kelly said I was to let her know after I had spoken to my builder when I wanted them to move me in, I am NOT having building works done! I had told her when booking that I would move the day after I got the keys so there was no waiting around for them on the day, and it would also give me the chance to clean. George asked me if I had it in writing!!!!If you choose to use them make sure you get a VERY detailed quote and get in writing the date you have booked in! Otherwise you’re in for more stress during what’s already a stressful time.

I do, however, have to clarify a few of your points, which are misleading.We are very keen to keep our customers happy but we hope that you can acknowledge that an increase in scope is understandably not covered in a price that is based on a smaller scope of work.Your return move date from storage was never confirmed and was a provisional. You were disappointed when told we had no availability for your preferred date, we offered you our next available slot two days later which you declined.Within minutes of ending the call you had written this review which has been characterised out of your frustration.We had meticulously planned moving you out the day before completion to avoid any disruption to the new buyers and so that we were not working against the clock.Our availability is limited and we work on a first come first serve basis regardless of the size of move. A full refund for your move out of storage has been processed.

    All nice and friendly when the owner came to quote for the job, sold us the story of small family business, that don't use subcontractors, don't charge extras, can be trusted etc...Quote was cheaper than the rest - there is a reason why!!! When the day of the move came, he sent subcontractors who were not profesional at all, in a very small old luton van with dirty floors. We knew very quickly not even all.our essential things would fit in one van. When we called him to express out worry, his tone and manner was nothing short of dismissive and aggressive. It was all our fault, we had too much stuff, we won't helping them load the van...anything but take responsiblity for making a very bad judgement and wrong quote. Which in hindsight is probably a tactic to then charge more on the day when people are at their most vulnerable and desperate. He also mentioned that he had another job after our removal so if we didnt complete and get the keys by certain time we would be charged extortinat amount per hour. There was zero empathy, zero care. It was all lies, there was no job after, no need to put that amount of extre stress. We had to move twice, it took 2 vans.. horrendous, avoid them!
