Very efficient and friendly movers. Arrived promptly and moved us efficiently and they were really nice people. Would recommend.

Khan, Malek and Waheed did a stellar job getting me all moved in - rapid work at both sides, and they even safely transported my glass cabinet.

The cost almost doubled from 13,000 to 23,000 after collecting our household goods, before Berks would deliver. They claimed unforeseen circumstances despite having three lengthy email chains clarifying that we thought they were severely under-budgeting, prior to agreeing a contract with Berks. They insisted needing only 3 Luton Vans despite knowing we are a 40-foot container. They asked us how to book a ferry days before packing our house, and they had no idea ferries impose weight limits for vans. The only actual unforeseen circumstance was 1 of 7 vans having mechanical troubles. However, they used the term unforeseen circumstance so often they must be blind. They admitted all the additional costs were their own internal mistakes, yet in addition to penalizing the customer for Berks mistakes, they also informed us they made a 20% profit (actual costs were 19k of 23k). They using too long time to moving my , Moving in same area , moving 5 large item, dismantle and assembly. They used 5 hrs, which distance fm home to home only 3 mins .Overall they doing good , but I just not happy on moving time, I don't think so it need used 5 hrs Read more

Earlier this week I moved from Surrey to Earlsfield with Berks Removals. Moving a four bedroom house on my own I was quite worried but the team were fab. Malik, Shabir, Mo, Ali dismantled everything and put them back up at my new property and took extra care of particular things that mattered to me. Initially I had doubts about using this company, but they were insistent that their very competitive quote was fixed and that there would be absolutely no additional costs. I used their packing service which was carried out very efficiently and at breakneck speed - with all the boxes and paper delivered the day before. On the actual move day, six operatives loaded the contents of our 4 bed house in less than four hours. There was a wait at the new house while the key was collected with no extra charges and the unloading was carried out just as quickly as the loading. Nothing was too much trouble for these operatives and nothing too heavy or awkward for them to deal with. They were considerate, friendly and hard working. Coffee and biscuits did make a little difference!I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company who have been true to their word - the price you get is, at the end of the move, the price you pay for a job well done. The removal men were absolutely amazingly brilliant hard working Office staff however - what can I say that's printable?? awful horrendous disgusting behavior!!!!!! On video quote I was told 3 to 4 vans needed The day of removal only 2 vans arrived (moving over 100 miles away)When queried they said Id have to pay big discounted price of 500 for another van (which I had to do)Im now having to pay to hire another can myself and 2fantastic friends to move the rest of my stuff. Appalling company. Worst move in 40 years. They will tell you anything to get your business. Once its too late to switch movers they will tell you the complete opposite. I specifically asked if they took credit cards and was told yes in email. Two days before the move they said no. It put me in a horrible place financially. The person who conducted the survey came to my house. I received a quote. I was happy with the quote as they were the lowest of the 5 movers. On the day of the move they showed up in a tiny van that was far too small for the contents of my house. I know the contents of my house. I told them they is no way this will fit. Four hours later I was right. They charged me double the quoted price for another van. They blamed me for having to get another van and said we told you in email what type of van. I dont know vans! How could it possibly be my fault when I didnt conduct the survey? They said its common and happens to a lot of their clients. Well, in a professional moving world that doesnt happen.
