They were amazing we moved from London to Wales, they packed everything so well, nothing damaged and on unloading put boxes into the rooms as labelled no damaged goods. No scuffing to walls and they were helpful and friendly. They really took the anxiety out of the move and I would recommend them to anyone.

Very professional and efficient movers. They completed the job faster than the time they quoted, so the job was cheaper than expected. They even disassembled and reassembled a wardrobe which would not fit through the door. The total time, start to finish, for my 2 bedroom apartment was about 3.5 hours (including 30min drive between houses), and everything arrived intact and delivered to the correct rooms. I would highly recommend Best Rate Removals.

The guys did an amazing job over a very long day which was made more challenging due to traffic issues on the preferred route from London to Cheshire. As a result they went without a stop for lunch and completed the unpacking almost 12 hours after starting. A long day with no complaints or moans. Would recommend.

The three guys worked quickly and with a positive attitude. They did their best to remove any stress from myself. I asked for furniture to be removed from the property and hadn’t arranged it in advance. However, they were completely unphased and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely use them again.

Good service overall and were on time
We moved from London to Winchester- with 1 x 7.5 tonne van, & 2 x 3.5 tonne vans - with 5 men. They started early/ worked hard / & were careful with our furniture. They re-assembled furniture (reluctantly) & placed it where wanted. No after sales follow up (seems bit strange). But overall good value & well managed move. Would use again.
Fairly smooth removal on the day but they need to send someone round beforehand to get an exact understanding of what needs transporting.
The drivers were not aware that mattresses needed removing? I asked for a 3 man team initially with their largest van but they told me 2 men and a smaller van would be enough.
As I mentioned before you need an accurate estimate from them and the only way to do this is having somebody come round from their company.
I have also noticed damages to my sofa set which I will claim via insurance.We think a box was left on the truck, although we checked it had packing stuff so was not totally empty- difficult to tell! We’d had a change of date last minute and they were available which I was worried about but they were good- showed up on time- and got the job done. Only difficulty was the fact that only one of the team spoke English.
No matter what you will go over the time limit that you agreed on and it will cost extra. No problem with the move itself we have had no damage it’s just all a little on the slow side. We were also charged extra for booking late as they had to hire and extra van to accommodate our needs. Although as it just happened the van they turned up with was fully company branded inside out.
Organization before the move was pretty good. Always received an email/call back when I had questions, and I felt reassured that the moving day was going to go well. On the moving day the guys showed up on time, packed everything up, locked up our flat, and delivered everything back in the new flat. Some things were broken, but not too bad. They ate some of the chocolate we had in the fridge - energy surely helped them to get the job done.
Overall, I would recommend this company again. One piece of advice - do not get the insurance. It's rubbish - you have to report everything within a week, and there is £100 excess. Chances are they won't break anything that's expensive enough. In our case it was not worth claiming, but we had paid for it, so we lost money.Good initial contact with the team (very responsive with easy communication skills). Friendly team that worked slowly but hard! At the end, I had to pay for an extra 2 hours job and realised that some damages incurred during the moving day. Finally, the cleaning lady forgot to clean a room. I will most probably not use their services again.. especially since they were not the cheapest.
Ok service for the money.
The two guys that came to move everything were really fast and efficient. It did take longer than we'd hoped but that was because the time allocated in the initial quote was unrealistic in hindsight. The initial quote we had was around £250 but in the end we paid around £600. Having looked into quite a few companies I believe that the final price was fair but I guess they give quite unrealistic initial quotes to lure people in.
The van did get lost on the way to the new house which upped the price as over time was charged per hour. However, I can't really blame the removal men as the new property doesn't show up on any sat navs yet. You would assume that directions would be sorted out before the move by the company as I guess the same issue would arise with other new builds.Poor communication, unprofessional. When we tried to bring sone issues to their attension, they simply ignored us. Very disappointing
A move from hell. Only positive thing is the actual crew that was here on the day - they worked very hard.
Packing was not finished on the day before which meant that the crew of 5 wherecten inly 3 because they had to finish packaging first. We ran out of packing material on the day. Despite several phone calls to customer service they did not provide more men to move as was needed nor did they provide extra packaging material.
Very valuable paintings and art were handled with utter disrespect and several lampshades are damaged due to insufficient packaging. Boxes were not labelled correct so very difficult to find things afterwords .
Absolutely horrible.Just were slow and as paying per hour the cost went up
