On the day, the removal team were incredibly helpful and moved everything in and out of both properties quickly. They helped dismantle and reassemble a couple of beds, and were finished early due to being so efficient.The only issue we had was that the quote provided after the video survey was for one van and 2 movers. Unfortunately, they were unable to fit everything in one van and so we were required to drive back and forth to the old property to pick up what was left behind. If we had been quoted for 2 vans and an extra mover, everything would have been much smoother and caused less stress.However, I'd like to emphasise that on the day, the movers were excellent and were only let down by the person who had originally quoted the move. Price was higher than competitors however BMS were the most helpful in terms of pre-sale support. The move itself was exactly as described, quick and efficient.

They were fantastic, from the first conversation through the whole process, they were efficient, courteous, helpful and careful. We had a team of 6 people initially to pack and load the van and a team of 3 to unload and place. We had a big move from London to Yorkshire and it was done over two days. The process was as stress free as possible (moving is never stress free). On the moving day they arrived at around 8:30/9am and our house was packed and empty by 12:30 - for reference we had a 3 bedroom property, we boxed most internal items ourselves before hand and we had BMS pack the entire summerhouse and sheds (separate listed charge but worth it) They came with plenty of extra bubble wrap and cardboard boxes for many of the items we had not packed due to size or the little things we forgot. They also packed the wall hanging TVs and these were very well packed. On arrival to our new home, they put items exactly where we asked and were happy to move items into a different room on the odd occasion we changed our mind. Over all we were impressed with their service, communication and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them. Read more

I moved to the UK last year and used BMS to move my furniture and effects from long term storage into my new home. Their service was outstanding. The crew were friendly and professional in their handling of my goods and assisted with the removal of the export packaging. This was particularly helpful when it came to unwrapping the larger items of furniture and crated mirrors, and putting the former in place in the relevant rooms. Just fantastic, couldn't have asked for better service.

Charged premium prices for sub standard services.
Promised certified removal staff, full inventory and a standard of packing that would make our unpacking a little less stressful. Got nowhere near that level of service. Boxes routinely just had stuff thrown in to them, paper wrapping was a mess, in some cases a single sheet for glassware with no cushion, mixed up packing across multiple rooms. No inventory taken whatsoever despite being told there would be during contacting - this was explained on the day because they don't take inventory if it isn't going in to storage... But half of it did go in to storage for 2 nights before the move. Thankfully there wasn't much damage to the furniture, what little damage there is isn't really claimable, but for the price I was paying I think any damage is unacceptable. During negotiations I was quoted a price that was absolutely ridiculous. Got about 20% taken off just for asking "what else can you do". After that it was still the very high end of pricing which would have been ok except for the quality of service. Read more

Unfortunately, I wouldna??t recommend this company. Poor customer service, turned up nearly 4 hours late, number of items damage.

They were very cautious on the day - they moved 30 boxes, sofa and table plus lots of plants. All in good care, it was for a 30-min fat drive.

They were Professional and very responsive. We had a good overall experience.

Very efficient. Gents were very good and got all of our move completed without any issues.

BMS Transport - You will not find cheaper with the level of professionalism that they offer.

On the move day we had 2 guys with a large luton van turn up. They were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they kept telling my husband to just leave it to them. They worked so hard and were very pleasant.

Overall we were really impressed with BMS Transport - great value for money. A lot of removal companies charge the earth but BMS didn't.

Good professional service and friendly staff.

The 4 man team turned up on time. They were exceedingly friendly and introduced themselves by name.
They then worked extremely quickly and efficiently to take all my possessions from the 4th floor to their van.
They were tidy, clean and professional.
They protected the TV with bubble wrap and put all the duvets into bags to keep them clean
At the other end they were very helpful, fast and speedy. They even helped me with the washing machine and fridge freezer that were delivered separately.
They took apart a wardrobe and did that with care.

Of the three removers that I had booked only two turned up and one did hardly any work all day leaving it all the the older man. The younger one was cocky and rude as well as doing no work. This meant that it took 7 hours to pack up a small two bedroom flat - and by the time they eventually got to the new residence they only had just under two hours to get everything in, meaning I and my partner had to help move - hardly what I paid for. They over-packed some items and under packed others leading to breakages. I would neither recommend or use this company again. Read more

We paid for the pack and move service and BMS were excellent. Called us in the morning to tell us what time to expect them. They were quick to pack 4 hours in total for an entire house.
