    Great customer service before, during and after the move. The packers and movers worked really hard on the first day to make things as easy as possible on the actual move day. Nothing broken. Were very understanding about the slight wait getting the keys.

    Everything went perfectly. The men doing the removals really knew their job. Zack, Piotr, Balas, Michele and the other guy - sorry forgot his name, he is Macedonian - were really efficient and quick. They asked questions when they needed to - Balas stopped us bringing some things from the garage that we didn't want to bring by asking us about them - but mainly just got in with the job. We moved on two of the hottest days this year, so they worked extra hard.

    I was also impressed by communication with Clockwork in the days before the move, and on the moving day itself, when I needed to ask about some last-minute matters.

    In short I really recommend Clockwork. Moving house is apparently one of the most stressful things you can do, and they made it less stressful.

    The guys on the day were fantastic. Everything packed with real care and all done in pretty good time. Always a bit concerned just going off recommendations on the internet, but these guys were the real deal. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

    Absolutely brilliant. 2 guys, 2 vans. They did not stop, very efficient loading and unloading and very polite. No hesitation in recommending to anyone.

    The team of guys who worked over two Days were great. Very hard working and very efficient. All of our items arrived safely and placed in their corresponding rooms.
    Only one admin feedback would be notification on payment. When and how we could pay could have been explained with more detail. But overall a great service

    The men were polite, helpful and very efficient. There was no shouting or bad language and they did extra things I didn't expect, just to be helpful.
    I would definitely recommend them.

    This was a two- three day move.
    They came and packed most things on the first day. The guy in charge was excellent.
    The second day they finished packing and took our things out of storage. As we were moving over 100miles they were delivering the next day.
    The guys were on time friendly and helpful.
    My only criticism of the delivery days team would be they seemed to be rushing to finish as when I went make the beds they were not put together properly and we would have broken them if we tried to sleep on them. A couple of things were damaged a door on a wardrobe which was fixable which they showed me. And the bottom of a bedside table which we found later.

    We had to reschedule the whole process once, and Clockwork were very accommodating. Our packing and move days were both at the worst of the 'Beast from the East' snow, but the crews worked on regardless. We had the impression that the packing crew underestimated the amount they left for move day as the move day crew took about an hour longer than we had expected to complete pack and loading, taking us beyond completion time - fortunately, our buyer was not looking for immediate move-in. The crews were clean and polite, all our things made the move intact and in excellent condition, and the move crew worked well into the evening late to complete delivery.

    Reasonable quote and although I had to pay an additional £90.00 on the day as there were more items to be moved than originally quoted for, this was still reasonable.
    Guys that undertook the move were very accommodating, even making an additional unscheduled stop to drop an item off. I was packed up by the company (1 guy) the day before and then moved the following day by 2 guys. Furniture was well packaged and transported reasonably well. There were a few items that suffered some minor damage, like a mattress that suffered a few snags and a tear, a freezer that suffered a small dent and deep scrape, a complete pyrex collection that suffered chippings and a shelf that never made it to it's final destination. However in the grand scheme of things these all seemed very minor. I have read and heard horror stories in relation to other companies and customer experiences and so ultimately was grateful for my own more smoother experience. Hence my overall score of 4 stars.

    The gentleman who came around for the estimate was wonderful - very knowledgeable and friendly. The movers who came were quick and efficient and they packed everything up quickly, dismantled furniture and put them back perfectly. Out of the three gentlemen who came to move, one was less careful than the others and there were small dings and scratches on walls and doors. But considering the amount of items moved and length of time it took to move everything, I am satisfied with the service received.

    The men were lovely however they did not inform me that they damaged one of my items and visibly tried to fix it. When i contacted the company they offered me a very disgraceful price in compensation to the large item and this was WITH damages insurance. They based the amount on how long id had the item and which make and model it was but simply taking my word for it. I am now out of pocket even more than I was after paying almost £1000 for the removal. Unsatisfied customer. Unaccetable.

    At Clockwork we welcome all feedback, we received your claim form regarding accidental damage to a TV on 7th March which was passed onto the insurer the same day. The insurance company responded to this on the 8th March asking for a photo of the back of the TV to confirm the model. The insurer, nor ourselves have not offered any form of compensation to date nor have they heard back from you regarding the model of the TV in question. We would urge you to contact the insurer with this information in order to settle this matter, Many thanks

    Sadly, despite the fact that Clockwork were the only company that quoted BAR membership and were probably the most professional at quite stage, we had a number of issues over the course of our move.

    1) We paid for the full packing service prior to the day of move but they sent a single person who ran out of boxes, packed things that didn't need packing but left out things that did and then left without packing an entire floor of the property

    2) The packer did not tell the office this so the removal guys turned up without additional boxes and not knowing that they would have to do any packing

    3) Because of above, they had to unpack and repack in order to get everything in boxes that needed to be - meaning we didn't leave the property until 3pm

    4) Upshot of all of above was that we ended up unloading half of our property at the destination end ourselves so that the removals guys weren't doing it well into the evening (to be fair, they were friendly, professional and hard working - and were equally as frustrated!)

    5) I then booked the empty box collection, stayed at home and Clockwork didn't turn up - rearranged for a few days later PM - they tried to come AM.

    Not clever!

Your move was not scheduled to finish until 8pm in the evening and we understand our crews completed the move within this time frame. For insurance purposes we discourage customers from helping with the removal and as company policy our crews will never ask for help. Our crews are highly trained to a BAR standard to get the move completed even under time pressures. We apologise again for any miscommunication and thanks you again for choosing Clockwork.

    Packers and movers worked very hard. The unload was far too rushed and took place on one day, not across two days as quoted. One significant breakage due to inadequate wrapping. Customer service from the office staff was poor. No contact between booking and move date and information hard to obtain.

    At Clockwork we welcome all feedback and work to learn from all our customer reviews. That said we are a little confused as in all of our records and on our crew sheets this was a two day removal (8th & 9th May). Our crews worked until 7.30pm on day one and 5pm on day two. We also have no record of any complaints or breakages, we take all complaints very seriously and in the rare instance that breakages occur we work to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.     The one guy who did the packing was miserable. The day our boxes they were delivered to the new house,they put them any old place. Boxes for the garage in the house, things for the house in the garage. Upon opening some boxes there were breakable items not even wrapped. We are also missing a few items, one of which is a very expensive watch. Unfortunately, we can't prove anything.

    Imagine being told about 12.30pm on the completion day that the van isn't big enough. Then, calling the customer services and being told the van is large enough to fit my things that were surveyed!? After escalating, they sent an extra van which arrived an hour later. Then, when asking to remove the washing machine and dishwasher, I was asked to pay more money. Then after insisting they knew I wanted these removing, they checked their notes and it was on there. Then, imagine it's 2.20pm and you receive another call explaining the van is waiting to unload and I need to pay waiting time. I explained I'd already paid this, again they check their notes and it's mentioned. Terrible service!

    Awful experience from the beginning. No sense of customer service, no management of the day (I ended up leaving my prior property at about 4pm....well after completion).
    I wouldn't touch this company with a bargepole again and would never recommend them at all.
    I rang their office about 6 times on the day advising them that another person is needed to enable me to leave the property in a timely basis, and was constantly told 'someone will be there'.....they turned up late afternoon!!!!!
    The packers arrived with no tools to dismantle the beds and wardrobes. The tools arrived with the person arriving later. I ended up leaving my wardrobes due to lack of time.
    Really awful experience at a time that is stressful anyway. And until now, no apology, I guess because they have my money.
    Don't know why they were rated 8/10 on 'Compare My Move'????

    We are sorry you feel this way but unfortunately we were not made aware prior to the move that there would be two removals happening simultaneously on the same day within the same property. Due to the delicate nature of the move and having two different removal companies present the move did take longer than was planned and we sent an extra member of staff to accommodate for this. That said I must confirm we did leave the house at 2pm, within the time we stated within our correspondence. We strive to accommodate for any changes our customers make on the day of the move and will dismantle furniture where we can but on this instance we were not informed prior to the move that our crew would need the tools to carry this out.

    Clockwork were disastrous. We would never recommend them. Over the three days of our move they did not have a consistent foreman. The lorry on moving day was too small and all our garden furniture and plants in pots were left on the pavement for later collection. Things that had been intended for storage were forgotten. Glasses, candlesticks and lamps were smashed. A neighbour's flower pot was broken. Perhaps worst of all, they have said that we have nothing to complain about! We are horrified and upset.

    At Clockwork we take customer service very seriously and we have fully looked into this complaint. We were not made aware of any broken or forgotten items. One pot was damaged but we were told on the day by the customer not to worry about this. Our Operations Manager went out to the customer after the move and we were told they were happy with the move.
