What a team! Emma arranging, a great team packing, Phil and crew shifting. It was more like a party - no booze, just lots of tea. All packed and loaded between 9 and 2:30. Unload 200 miles 12 to 2:30. Just wish they could have emptied all of those cartons. Mind you have spent 2 days looking for the clips for the master bed, only to find they had put them as part of their re-assemble bit. Oh yes, has anyone seen the last TV remote?
Seriously though, I couldn't have wished for better. Thank all at Countrywide so much.

We can't recommend Countrywide Moves highly enough. Emma's friendly customer service from day one of contact was absolutely fantastic and we never had to wait long to hear back from her. Phil visited to do the survey and and he was brilliant too. We received the quote later the same day. Very impressed. On packing day, Kat, David and Joel were so friendly, helpful and worked as a great team. They all helped to put me (very stressed and lacking sleep) at ease. The house was carefully packed up, wrapped, covered and protected in what seemed like no time at all. Our bed was dismantled too (all part of the service). The following morning we all headed off on our 3 hour journey to pastures new. David and Jarrod got to the house first and started to unpack whilst we collected the keys. Unpacking was speedy and super-efficient with the added bonus of having the bed put back together in our room and other larger/heavier furniture put where we wanted it. Outstanding communication from day 1!

It really was exhausting getting to exchange but once we had that confirmation, Countrywide just took over on the move planning and all was taken care of. The packing service the day before was worth every penny too - not one thing got broken, or lost. Everything was clearly labelled and made unpacking a breeze... even if though we have far too much 'stuff'.

On completion day, we didn't get our keys until 4:30, but not once did we get any pressure from Emma of the team about how late it was getting and they were totally transparent about when extra charges would be incurred - (ultimately it would be if we had to unload the following day - they didn't charge for waiting).
James, Dave and Josh were amazing at getting everything into and out of the vans and were really friendly and courteous all day. Even after getting the keys late, they still gave us ten minutes to have some time in the new house on our own to take it all in. Absolute gentlemen. Read more
