Shockingly unprofessional and untrustworthy. We had a very bad experience with Denix Removals. I found them via a comparison website and this is the first negative review I have ever posted but I had to share my experience in the hope noone else encounters the stress and expense that I did. On the moving day I had a whole host of problems. There was absolutely no communication from either of the 2 men that arrived, they were very slow which resulted in them charging an extra 300 of "additional time". They broke a large vase (and left it on the side of the road) and I had to ask one of them to get out the van as found him sat in there on 2 occasions playing on his phone when I had expressed we needed to be out by 4pm... I paid for the disassembly and reassembly of 2 x ikea wardrobes but due to time I had to call my family to help and do the majority ourselves. I was accused of lying and withholding information by the manager when I queried the invoice the next day and told if I didn't pay the invoice by end of the next day I would face legal action as I had accepted the quote which stipulated the additional charges. The moving day was good, the guys were professional and helpful but I felt ripped off when the final bill came. I was charged an outrageous 70 for bubble wrap?! Very helpful and courteous team - super efficient on the day!

The delivery driver was excellent, but the delivery company had over booked and I spent the entire day waiting. I had no communication from the company until 2 hours past our arranged time. I had booked my move at 2 (a 2 hour move) but it ended being completed by 10pm.I was the told I would be contacted regarding the payment amount as I missed a shift at work and this has not happened. I wouldnt recommend this service as they are not able to keep to any arrangements. Best to use a different company. Read more

Customer service was excellent but on the day the removal men turned up about 45 minutes late which was very frustrating.

Very easy to communicate with via email. Van arrived absolutely on time and arrived at destination within estimated time, despite appalling weather. Your things will be moved but don't expect them to survive the journey. This company moved me. I was very worried about the couch and asked for coverings and shrink wrap to protect the couch. It was covered but not totally and then During this move they managed to damage a 1500 couch. Scratches and dents on the corners and back sofa. Significant damage to the leather. This sofa was 2yrs old. Had only been moved to install in the place it was moved from but during transit it was damaged. Make sure you look at the terms and conditions on the website. They will not refer to this on the invoice nor in any of the email exchange. They will mention the 20K insurance but there's a catch. The T&C states that if you do not provide a list of items with their value, you can only been compensated up to 40. There is also a 250 dedudictable. They do not commpensate for damage. Spend more money and get a company that will move your goods with care. Read more

Excellent, easy to deal with, did the job quickly and were the cheapest quote by far

Terrible.Arrived very late, with zero packing materials. The movers were not told anything about my order and were extremely slow and not professional movers. I left them to it and found my bed and furniture in their dirty truck with no packing. I had to ask them to removeit and find my own packing materials (sheets) to protect my furniture. They were so slow but I still was charged 50 for extra time. Read more

Tom was extremely helpful and supportive in the run up to the move from London to Derbyshire. He put my mind at ease and everything was done in such a friendly yet professional manner. On the day the 2 removal men arrived promptly and got to work straight away loading the van. They made it look effortless and everything was loaded in 1 hour 20 mins. Very helpful, friendly, hard working and efficient team, taking care of fragile items and furniture. Dismantling and reassembling (pointing out weaknesses and taking extra care) where necessary. Carefully carrying everything to where we wanted in the new house.
The packing service before the move meant they boxed up everything not already boxed on the morning of the move.
Important for customer to check everything required has gone from each area so they were able to complete to our entire satisfaction.

Denys and Alex and their team were great. They managed our move split over two days storing our contents safely overnight. They delivered everything safely from Cambridge to North Yorkshire.

They disassembled and assembled all tricky bits of furniture requested, even disassembling extra pieces to get things through tight sports.
