Moving is stressful, let alone moving with the threat of a covid-19 lockdown. We didn’t know if we were able to move and found out at 1pm on a Friday afternoon that we could. Removals were absolutely up for it, moved us swiftly last thing on a Friday afternoon before lockdown. Would absolutely recommend them. Can’t thank them enough.
Easy to deal with via phone and email. Men on the day were very nice. Nothing was an issue to them. The office hadn't told the men to bring wardrobe boxes but, it wasn't a problem fir the men to go get them. Definitely would recommend them. .

DMG Direct were very helpful, easy to deal with and reasonably priced. They helped to make a potentially stressful day much easier. The removals staff were courteous, quick and careful and we would have no hesitation in recommending DMG Direct to fdiends or family who were moving house.
I was very anxious about my things going into storage, I feel I was reassured and supported through and throughout the whole process. Three super heroes who had to walk the furniture etc quite a distance further than they thought as the access road had not opened, excellent service and would recommend the company to anyone.
The best I could possibly have gotten. They absolutely made the move go like clockwork telling us what they were doing and by there cheery demeanour keeping us absolutely stress free on our move after which we were so glad to have chosen them. DMG as said in the song are SIMPLY THE BEST.

Apart from a slight communication concern, this was a move with no concerns. Price was very competitive and the two chaps who turned up right on time moved all my heavy furniture (and me) to the new flat. This is on the third floor but it was all done with a smile. They took care to place furniture rather than slide on my new laminate flooring. The whole job done inside four hours. Happy to recommend this company.

DMG were very helpful on moving day. The guys couldn't do enough for us in what was challenging circumstances ( our new home had been let down by their removal firm ). As a result DMG agreed to do both removals at extremely short notice; a real "needs must " situation !. Would use / recommend DMG again , well pleased with excellent service .

1st move in to storage went ok apart from the guys not having a big enough van, 2 small vans which needed 5 trips between them. Overall the guys that did both moves were great, communication from the office could have been much better. I had to phone them both times the day before to find out what time to expect them.
Whilst the men actually doing the removal were pleasant and efficient, and went out of their way to help, I will certainly not use or recommend this company. Despite their still being involved in another removal (with another customer's goods in the van and there being delays (in both removals) due to late key exchanges, I was charged an extra £50 'waiting time'. -- a rip-off and unjustifiable money-grab. (I wonder if the other customer that day was also charged 'waiting time'?
I found my removal went very smoothly owing to the removers being there on time being very courteous and unloading at my new address very quickly. Would definitely recommend them.
Turned up 2 hours late on moving day, said they had a burst tire, but I wasn't convinced. This threw everything else into chaos. In the run up to the day it was difficult to get a reply on the phone and most of my emails were ignored. The guys were friendly enough on the day, and only a couple of minor items damaged although these were hidden from us.
Unfortunately the experience on the day was not good. Prior to the move we had not been given a specific time but we were ready to move from 9am. It took numerous calls from 10.30am onwards in an attempt to find out what time our removal would take place. We were told on a number of occasions that they would be with us “shortly”.
Shortly turned out to be approximately 3.15 pm. At one point our calls were not being answered at which point we used a different phone. The call from the new phone was answered right away. The new phone was eventually not being answered and led to a third phone being used. The removal men were in general very friendly and helpful and carried out the task well. Unfortunately there was a rather unprofessional comment by one of the removal men. We informed them that after several unsuccessful attempt, we were having difficulty paying the bill online. This was not due to a technical issue. The comment made was that “ there will be no more stuff coming of the van until this bill is paid”. The bill was duly paid in cash ten minutes later. Moving house is a stressful experience at the best of times and our experience on the day made it ten times worse.
Communication at this company is very very very poor, the removal staff are very good but appear to be over worked. The Admin staff are extremely poor are communicating with the client. I experience a delay in getting a piano delivered and was informed it would be delivered a the next day due to short staff, and it would be by 9am. I did not hear a peep from DMG and i called 6 times that day, very concerned my piano had went missing. The admin staff kept fobbing me off saying it would be at 10am, then 12pm, then 3pm- I did not receive my piano until 8pm! I was minutes away from calling Trading standards. I paid a premium for DMG to move my piano £100 ontop of my removal service, i have received no recompense for the 34 hour delay or stress caused.
If DMG take anything from this review, i suggest improving communication with clients to ensure they maintain customer relations.
Terrible service! Was told to expect them first thing in the morning, they didn't turn up until 3pm. Awful customer service when I called all through the day, lied to repeatedly. At one stage I thought they weren't going to come at all. My moving day couldn't have been more stressful due to DMG. Also, my initial quote was very misleading due to VAT being added on after- this was not clear at all until after I booked. I wish I'd gone with my instincts then and went with someone else. Avoid this company if you want reliability, transparency or any customer service whatsoever!
Double booked, didn’t stick to booked times. Nonexistent communication I had to call them to get information.Didn’t assess job before quoting and then wanted more money on the day. Extremely poor customer service and attitude from office manager and transport manager. Kept trying to blame me for their errors and had me in tears!
Pay a little extra and go with more reliable company. They were late in the day of delivery with no apology or warning, they refused to put my wardrobes together when they delivered and they lost a box of my belongings. They admitted that the guys who picked up my belongings didn’t pass on that the wardrobes has to be put back together to the delivery guys. Two months later they have finally given me back a fraction of the value of the goods lost. I should stress that the only reason I managed to get anything back is because I phoned continuously. I might have been able to accept that mistakes happen if they handled the situation professionally and with respect but they never once returned a phone call when they said they would. Very proactive until they get the booking confirmed and paid. As soon as they have your money any customer service goes out the window. Judging by the reviews I’m not the only one who has had this type of experience with them. AVOID!!
