    Very efficient on the day, and the packing service was well worth the extra expense. The initial assessment visit was far more thorough than by other companies and gave me confidence that I was dealing with an experienced removal company.

    FA Removals moved us from London to Somerset. From packing up the house on Thursday through to moving us on Friday - we found the staff to be highly professional and courteous, and they treated our furniture and belongings with great care. I'd highly recommend FA Removals to anyone considering using a removals service as they offer both professionalism and value for money.

    We had a tough job, moving a LOT of delicate, high value items from a 1st floor flat to a 2nd floor flat. The 3 man team were excellent and worked non-stop and, most importantly for me, they paid attention to requests for handling delicate items. Everything was delivered to the new flat in the condition it was packed in - would highly recommend this service!

    Rain was forecast for the morning, so the team arrived earlier than booked and managed to pack everything into the vans ahead of the rain starting. It had started raining by the time it came to unloading at the other side and they put down rain blankets in the hallway to save wet footprints.
    Great service, very polite team, nothing damaged.
    Would highly recommend.

    First time using a removal service and I wasn't sure what exactly to expect. FA Removals team were professional from start to finish; making my move easy and stress free. They worked quickly, but with care so my belongings arrived in one piece. Only one item was left in truck, which I missed on my own inspection, and they had returned to London before I realised and they kindly dropped it off for me with a friend with no fuss made.

    Great movers. Came and packed up the day before. On the move day, the guys worked really hard, had a good work ethic and were very respectful of the new house making sure to move things carefully. A few minor scuffs and scrapes on furniture that could be wiped down and only one thing got broken, so not bad given that we had to move from a 4-storey house with lots of stuff.

    Absolutely brilliant. I have a misaligned spine and the 2 guys helping were a god send. Arrived early, did all the lifting, nothing damaged and felt safe too. Thank you so much. If you are looking for removals PLEASE check these guys out before you go anywhere else! they’re great!

    FA were great from start to finish. We had to change dates several times, had our moving day pushed back at the last minute - and the team were extremely accommodating.
    The move itself was fast, efficient and without any kind of incident. All fragile items were in the exact condition they were removed in. Will happily use again!

    The packing service was excellent and quick. The movers were careful and patient with all our demands and very relaxed with all the stresses of the day. They did a great job, they were funny throughout.

    Pros: prompt, efficient, friendly, excellent and proficient at disassembling and reassembling furniture. Very good price
    Cons: could have taken slightly more care with delicate and light coloured stuff, there were a few dirty marks on some cream coloured upholstery

    This company were very reasonably priced and did a great job. The guys were very friendly and just got on with the job. Only comments against them were a couple of items got a small bit of damage (ie marks to furniture).

    We hired 2 Luton vans. One turned up on time and the other was three hours late because of a breakdown. The removals guys were good, efficient and careful with the items. I had to chase the company with many phone calls to get an update on the second removals van. I managed to get some money off the final bill, but only after some negotiation.

    Despite coming to view the flat ahead of time, they seemed quite annoyed by the amount that needed to be moved. That being said the move was fast and efficient, nothing was damaged and I was happy with the end result.

    Service was good. The van oad though was overweight and pressure was put on us to pay the removal man extra as he claimed that he could have been (or was - he kept changing his story) stopped and fined £350. They also made a detour to collect a colleague and a large motor engine part which made them later than expected. Having said that I could not fault their removal skills, they worked hard to load and unload the truck. I intended to tip them well anyway and was unhappy with the insistance that there was a fine to be paid.

    If you have a last minute move, they'll get the job done. Using non English speakers to do the move meant boxes weren't labelled accurately and at times it was difficult to direct them. They packed the day before the move. I put clothes out for me to wear the next day; they got packed before I could explain. We've struggled to locate items and found other clothes were mixed together and packed without sufficient care. They work hard and are polite but I'd stick to a reputable family run business of I had the choice.

    I had arranged for 3 removal men and only two attended. The company would have expected me to pay the agreed price but I called them up and got the price reduced.
    The actual guys on the day worked so hard from 09:00 to 10:00 at night by the time they left my home. I felt sorry for them i really did especially when you know what they’re being paid. They struggled with speaking English but we got by.
    The problem with this company is the huge disconnect between (a) the person who comes round to do the quote for whom nothing is an issue (as he’s not going to be the person doing the job), (b) the person at the office who you liaise with and (c) the actual guys on the ground doing the job.
    This is not what you need on the most stressful day of your life. Like I said the actual guys were really good but my impression of the company is really poor. It feels like their just exploiting the hard working labourers.

    Good quote, pleasant chap visited to give quote. On day of move, men 3 hours late, surly individuals, did a fair job. Used the toilet without asking and left a dreadful smell in loo.

    We were told the night before that they couldn't make the 9am appointment, in the end the move did go ahead on time but very stressful. Movers on the day were nice but spoke little English and hadn't been briefed that there was furniture to dismantle - we had to go out and buy them tools to do the job as they had none and communication was an issue. The job overran (which we agreed to pay more for and were fine with) and one of the movers then got extremely angry later in the day, shouting and banging furniture around because they wanted to go to another job. Overall it got the job done but was a difficult experience.

    Response:
    It was agreed with the above customer that all furniture would be dismantled prior to the removal. The customer wanted to add the dismantling and assembly service on the day which meant the removal would take considerably more time than what was originally planned. All FA Removals staff go through a rigorous training program in customer service and would be reprimanded if they failed to meet our high standards. The customer above made no mention of any staff member being angry or banging furniture on the day and seemed happy with the service on completion of the removal

    Packers did not label the boxes carefully enough. They wrote Kitchen or dining room on the box but not glasses or cutlery or vases.
    On arrival at the new house they did not cover the carpet with sheeting to protect the pale carpet and consequently put muddy footprints on the carpet.
    The removers ran out of time and just dumped everything in the large shed when they could be bothered to walk upstairs.
    They broke bedroom lamps as they were not wrapped up on the day of moving. Although I have written to the company for replacement value they have not contacted me.
    I would not recommend these people.

    Response:
    Mrs. Woodhouse required a last-minute packing and removal service going 200 miles and was told that FA Removals were fully booked but had sub-contractors that could undertake the removals. Mrs. Woodhouse was delighted with the suggestion and proceeded to book.This review should be directed at the company that undertook her removal

    Shocking service. Booked to arrive at 9am so that we would be out of the flat at midday. Excuse given that van needed tyre change. Arrived in the flat at 11:45. Went on 40 minute break at 13:15. Eventually left at 16:30. Workman said delay was due to no boxes being available. Final unpacking finished at 20:00. Driver rang ‘boss’ who demanded payment whilst I was on the line and workman was standing over. No doubt to avoid me holding back payment for the inevitable damages that we found. Shocking. Would not recommend. Do not be fooled by the low price if you want a stress-free day.

    In response to the above review, the customer was advised similar jobs to his, under normal circumstances, require a minimum of three removal men instead of the two for a packing and removal service that is intended to be completed on the same day. The customer went against our recommendation and opted for a two-man team undertaking a full packing and removal service on the same day, with the desire to be out of the property by noon. The customer was informed that this would be very unlikely given the work that needed to be carried out. The customer insisted on a two-man team, one can only infer that the customer was trying to save money, however, it was never practical given the time limitation. FA Removals agreed to carry out the job and reminded the customer that this will not be completed by 12:00 PM. On the day of the removal, the team worked tirelessly on the removal which was acknowledged by the customer and no damages were reported on the day. FA Removals has since tried to contact the customer several times to get more information regarding the damage and have had no response to emails or phone calls.

    The initial quote we received certainly was not the cheapest, however we went with FA Removals as they sounded the most professional. The movers were the furthest thing from professional. They did not know what they were doing. I feel like I could have rented a truck and packed it up myself in a lot less time and saved a lot more money. They had assured me that any furniture that did not fit into boxes would be wrapped and protected. Not one piece of the larger furniture was protected. We have extensive damage to our brand-new dining room table and other items. The movers just tried to cram everything onto the first truck without covering things. Our mattress was resting on the dirty ground outside when they were re arranging things. They were smoking and spitting all around our house. They did not understand English very well, which made things difficult. They sent the wrong size truck than what was in the quote and had to wait over 2 hours for another truck to come.
    I could not be more displeased with the service received and the office did not want to offer any sort of discount for our troubles. they made that very clear.

    1. Came and quoted for a job I specifically asked for 1. Relocation 2. Pack and Unpack and Build 3. Removal of boxes 4. Leave hanging boxes for clothes.
    The quote arrived and was accepted. I then took 14 emails to get confirmation of the move! They kept repeating the same questions which began to worry me. We paid our deposit and then it was all downhill.
    They turned up with a small team understaffed and late. They left ALL the boxes outside the door in the rain. I am away so they pressured my wife with two small children into paying and left before the job was done as soon as they got paid. Stay far far away from this clear money grabbing group.

    Do NOT use this firm. The saying you get what you pay for , never truer than this.
    1 of many things , did not turn up with enough Lorries , despite me booking required number. End result my wife was left sitting in our drive with furniture whilst I had to drive 70 miles to the new house whilst they tried to source another van. There suggestion , oh just leave it on the drive and our driver will do a 140 mile round trip and get it ...

    The above customer was advised on numerous occasions that he needed a bigger lorry by the surveyor that visited his property and by members of staff looking after the customer's booking. The customer was adamant that a 7.5t lorry would be adequate and certain items could be left behind if there were any issues. On the day of the removal, the customer was advised by his buyers that everything had to go which lead to FA Removals having to source a van for the customer last minute
