Overall, it was ok. The movers were an hour late and there were delays in arriving at the new property. The movers were very polite, friendly and hard working but unfortunately some items were damaged and lost. The customer service team rejected responsibility with a set excuse that did not apply in this circumstance. A claim has now been raised through my insurers. Read more

Excellent service and mannerism

The distance of our move was 210 miles: South England to South Wales. Dimu and two colleagues came on Sunday 21st November to part-load their vans with the contents (gathered over 40 years) of our 3-4 bed house. They worked like Trojans, with alacrity and care, barely stopping for breath, let alone a cup of tea, until most of the house was empty! With an additional colleague, they arrived at 8am the following day and finalised the loading before setting off for the long journey. They reached our new home around an hour before us and were let in by the previous owners. They'd already distributed a substantial number of the boxes in the designated rooms by the time we arrived.We felt so lucky to have such a friendly, cheerful, organised and hardworking team to take care of our move and we'd have no hesitation in recommending them to everyone thinking of making a move. Excellent. The booking process was easy and the moving day experience was fantastic. The guys worked incredibly hard and were really careful to look after our things. Definitely money well spent.

Couldn't fault them, on the day they were here within 10 minutes of the time booked, they packed up my furniture properly, with film to secure drawers and blankets to cover them in the van, some of my furniture is solid wood so this mattered. all items were handled with care when loaded and unloaded and left in the positions of my choosing. They even checked when there was a discrepancy between the manifest provided when I booked them and the items to move on the, this was due to me selling a bed ahead of moving day not an error on their part. Very professional service. No complaints

We were extremely happy with our choice of Leader removals. They were pleasant to deal with, only required a deposit up front and did not request the balance until after the move had taken place and we were happy with how it went. They were responsive and pleasant on the phone/email. The 2 men who performed the removal arrived early and were flexible in parking (we only had on-street parking so it was a bit tricky to get into the space). They were very efficient with moving the furniture, and wrapped it properly. They were impressively good at remembering exactly what they had picked up and which room we wanted it to be put into in the new house! They took off their shoes every time they came back into the house to avoid bringing any dirt in to our new carpet, and were very careful when carrying the furniture to avoid hitting the walls etc.
Overall we were extremely happy, and would recommend them again in a heartbeat. They were also reasonably priced. Read more

Very nice guys who did a great job

Even though we sent detailed images of everything required for the move, the quote was still much lower than the actual time taken, therefore the cost was much higher than expected. Moving is not cheap, so knowing how much things like this cost is important for budgeting. Having to pay extra on the day is not a nice feeling. Read more

Very efficient from start to finish. I have moved many times and this was the quickest and most stress free of all of them. They disassembled the furniture very quicky and reassembled it better than it was set up before and got rid of any wobbles. Very polite and professional. Moving is a very arduous experience and having moved three times in the last 6 years, I can say without a shadow of doubt that the team at Leader Removals were by far the best. The three men that were on the job were very polite , considerate and very efficient. Even with my two children running about them while they were moving and disassembled furniture they never complained. They were respectful and kind to me and my family at all times, what ever the requests that were given them they went along with .
