They went above and beyond to help and when situations arose beyond our control (lift broke down) they were totally unfazed and just made the best of it. Couldn't recommend them more highly. The move went seem less. They moved so efficient. They arrived on time and instantly started moving the items. Overall it took 3 hours. The two guys were friendly and bless them they had a lot of stairs to climb. One of the reasons I chose them is because the minimum booking time was 2 hours whereas others told me a minimum of 5 hours for a weekend. I have nothing negative to say about the service. Read more

they forgot our moving date, and they arrived 1 and a half an hour late, as they thought it was a different date. Very bad management and not organised at all. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.

Honestly these guys were fantastic. We've used a lot of removal companies in the past and to be frank - moving is one of the worst experiences anyone has to go through. Out of all the ones we've used, these guys were miles above the rest. From the moment I booked, Jack was super helpful and quick in providing a quote and details. We were so disappointed with these guys - they really let us down, and you cannot trust them. They said it would take 3 hours to pack our 2-bed flat - but it actually took 8 hours with me helping them to load the van for about 2 hours. They forgot to pack our mirror, which we managed to tell them about just before they left. They then tried to quickly shove it in and broke it. When putting our dining table back together, they put a screw up too aggressively and cracked the top. We were very sad to see such a lovely table and mirror damaged, but at least we were covered with 'full insurance'....Unfortunately, that is a scam. They knew that we had a newborn baby in the house, and had twice told me that their costs included 'full insurance'. What they failed to point out, on purpise I am sure to keep their premiums down, is that you have to do a full evaluation before moving to get all your belongings valued. We didn't do that (as it was in the small print), and so we got offered 40 for the 500 dining table, and 40 for the mirror. Apparently, even if we had got it valued we'd have only got 100 max anyway. It was a long moving day but we would have hoped more care was taken when assembling the furniture at the new property. The main bed was built with with one piece upside down, the kids bed had one piece broken and the broken piece was hidden outside the window, the wardrobe was built with the doors upside down and the top is not sealed well. They also didnt provide enough hanging boxes. There was a misunderstanding on kitchen packing and we ended up spending 30 of boxes at b&q on the day because of the misunderstanding. Read more

I am absolutely appalled by this company. They broke things. Left a filing cabinet out in the garden. Broke a bespoke item finger of Jesus on a cross in transit and numerous other items. Also wont pass over their insurance company details. And added another 300 on the day. Of move. Absolutely shocking. Avoid this company their is nothing Legit about them at all. Read more

I have recently used the packing and moving services by Legit Removals. The team has been very professional and thorough in their service. They have been very friendly and accommodating. Their quotation werent sky rocketing compared to others. They provided a very competitive rates and they were very flexible with their arrangements. We were delayed by few hours by our lenders but the team totally supported us and finished the job late in the evening. I have found Legit Movers through compare my move.From the time Andrei came to give me the quote till after the move they have been very attentive.The movers came and had all packed in very good speed and with care of all of my items.They were very professional and polite.Although the access to my new address was very challenging, situated on the 7th floor with a very small lift... they managed in the end and never stopped!I had two Romanian boys and two English who were all very polite and efficient. I had more communication with Christian on the day - who was always very polite and helpful, and Andrei, before the move, on the day and after. Always attentive and polite.I had to get a storage last minute and that was not an issue for Andrei. Things were OK until we found a broken electric fan. The removal men denied breaking this but it had not been broken before and there had been an attempt to cover this up. We were disappointed that my son was confronted about this in the street where all the neighbours could hear. Some items were packed away without our knowledge or consultation. Read more

We were really impressed with Legit Removals, who managed to fit us in at short notice and for a good price. Madalin and Amar turned up on time and did a great job of disassembling our furniture and packing everything up, getting it safely from London up to Leeds, and then putting it all back together again as good as new.The guys were friendly and cheerful, and made out lives much easier!
