Move Me Sooner

I felt from my first conversation with Darren at Move me Sooner that we were going to chose them, as he had such a friendly and helpful manner. We were pleased to learn there were no hidden costs which many other companies have (including charging for over time and moving at a weekend which move me sooner dont have). Throughout the whole process Darren was easily contactable and responded promptly. The guys sent to pack up the house were lovely and insured all of our belongings were transported safely. It was amazing going to work and coming back home to the house being ready to go with no worry on packing valuables. Everyone says moving is one of the most stressful things you can do but their packing service made this stress minimal. On the day of the move all the team were fantastic and ensured we had no casualties. Every box or item was placed in the new house in the place we requested. They had all our furniture in place and beds rebuilt at the new house in time for our childrens bed time. Efficient and friendly service. We had an awkward sofa that we couldnt get through a door way but the lads kept trying it different ways until it worked. Would recommend.

I am in the process of complaining, as the removal men, had me passing things to the van, I am disabled, and have suffered with agonising pain since, they also was meant to connect items, they messed up washing machine as they put pipe onto a capped pipe and didn't tell me, so I was washing and water had nowhere to go, flooded kitchen, definitely not worth the 500 paid Read more

The moving date was arranged at short notice and Felicity in the office was most helpful. On the day, Darren and his team did a great job. They were really helpful and everything went smoothly.

While the move went relatively smooth with staff being friendly and punctual, many aspects left us with a bitter feeling. Many of our furnitures have now chips and scratches, some back boards quite damaged, some scratches and marks in both homes (staff was really defensive when pointing those out). Also, the contract included dismantling/reassembly of required furniture to fit for transport and put in the correct room in the new house but at the end one of the closet was left one floor lower as it was not dismantled from the moving house, does not make sense. The contract included the move of everything, without time constrain but the end felt quite rushed, some boxes left on the ground floor instead of brought to the correct floor, some reassembly rushed and required to be redone by ourselves as the closet was really unstable. Fragile boxes were not handled with particular care (lost a glass and a plate so far).
At the time of booking, we were told that staff would be wearing appropriate PPE throughout the day and sanitize hands but on the day itself, no mask - as it appears to be to hard to breath - would have been better to not be lied to initially. Also hands mark on furniture Read more

polite professional and took care in the work, timing was spot on and they went the extra mile, plumbed the washer in for me, took a door off to fit the tumble dryer in and replace door on the cupboard.

Excellent service i would highly recommend - fully insured and professional - this is a family run business and a team effect not just a man & van outfit.

The staff here were amazing!! Friendly, helpful and considerate through the quote and booking process. On the day they were a little late due to traffic (not their fault) and called me to keep me informed. During the move they grafted really hard and still were able to have friendly chats while working. Nothing was too much trouble for them and very helpful when in new place with building and moving stuff. I wouldna??t have my sofa in my new place without their knowledge and ability. The guys worked hard and tirelessly all day and stayed until everything was complete and in place.

very unsatisfactory as glass table broken ,microwave plate missing mattress ripped the price charged was extortionate for service provide would not want anyone else to go tbrough what I did .

The customer service and movers were lovely. They arrived later than expected but they were incredibly apologetic and given the circumstances, it was understandable. It was a long drive and my car broke down on the way which meant they arrive before I did but they seemed understanding and helped as much as they could.
