They were 4 hours late on moving date They don't cover any thing up some furniture damaged customer services not very helpful.

Moved from hartlepool to sunderland. Overall experiance was fantastic from admin having brilliant communications before the day, to the moving day itself. Everyone we dealt with at O S Removals were brilliant from start to finish.The admin team were really lovely, kept in contact through the whole process and were prompt to reply. The gents who carried out our move were equally lovely too! They kept us up to date with their ETA via text, and my husband & I were very impressed by how speedy and efficient they were and they were super friendly as well.We asked for our super king size bed to be dismantled as part of the job and they completed it really quickly with no issues.Although I hope we won't be moving again anytime soon, we wouldn't hesitate to come back to O S Removals again for their services, and would definitely recommend to anyone in need of removals. This company contacted me after I put my details into a search on a comparison website. I had a 20 minute telephone call with the salesperson in which i confirmed the size of the place (3 bedrooms, 2 downstairs rooms, kitchen etc. How many boxes, how I was in a chain, etc. etc.)i later recieved an email confirming my requirements and a quotation for 540, they required a 10% deposit, which I paid.On moving day a 3.5 ton Luton van turned up, not only that but they had taken my deposit and sub contracted the work out to another company. The house move would take at least 2 trips.I filled my camper, my car, and the removals van by 1 pm, and waited for the key for the new place, unfortunately over half of my possessions were still in the house meaning that those buying it couldn't move inIt wasn't until 4pm until the key for the new place was released, we drove around, I emptied the car and returned to my former home to be met by my irate housebuyers, They are starting proceedings against me for not leaving Vacant possession, costs of hotels/storage etc. OS removals are charging an extra 200 for the van waiting!I needed a removal van, not a Luton! All the staff where friendly enough and kept me informed every step however when it came to the moving day a large enough van wasn't brought for the amount of stuff to be moved even though an itemised list was given and my consern was raised but was ment to be put at ease with a previsit by a member of the team. The moved was then carried out in 2 trips which would have been fine if the team didn't go on another job Inbetween which then left us with out half our stuff for 2 days which included the beds and most of the clothes. Also if me and members of my family weren't on hand to assist with the loading and unloading the moved would have taken longer especially on the first day when they had to spend 2-3 hours getting a 2nd van to get all the items out the house as I was handing the keys back that day and didn't arrive at the new house til very late at night. It was then made out to be doing us a favour by delivering the 2nd load on a Saturday which could have been avoided if the other job on Friday wasn't taken on. Read more

These 2 men where pure gentlemen. They were polite, courteous & very helpful. They were extremely careful with the furniture & boxes of ornaments etc. Samir managed to move my Mam at very short notice as we'd had a bad experience from a previous removals who has failed to come back when they should have then fell through on her moving date. Samir gave me a price which was under what was quoted from the bad ones. They were running slightly late but let us know it was due to technical issues with the 1st van but, they sure made up for the slight delay. To be able to please my Mam without her getting flustered & worried that they would damage her belongings, they must be good, that's all I can say. Ha ha.We could not have found a better service anywhere else. We will be recommending them to everyone we know & would certainly use them in the future. Samir was really lovely & very easy to talk to.It's hard to find gentlemen like these.So, if you want a job doing well & a job doing right, call OS Removals. If I could give more stars I would. Absolutely fantastic. Samir kept in regular contact with us on the days leading up to our move, and made sure everything was running smoothly on the day. Oz and Mohamed were our movers and did an excellent job - very efficient and professional. We had to wait 3 hours for our completion on the day to collect the keys for our new house, but the removal team were extremely patient and made sure the process of moving was really stress free.
