    Worst removal I ever had. When I hire them it was with the condition to dismantle my wardrobe and sofa then fix it to the new property because of my disability. They said yes they will do it. At the end of the day they were not able to do it they have to call a 3rd person. They wanted to charge me I refused. And said if I want them to fix back I should bring 200 more. The wardrobe is still on the floor dismantled. No respect for customer I was asked to tip the drivers even all the work was not done. No more NEVER Removal Zone.

    It was a very horrible experience. They have hidden fees. They agreed to a price then stated there was additional costs. I asked why they didnt tell me they said I should have clicked on a link that was located in fine print on a PDF they sent over a month before. Although there were no indications that there was anything wrong. They said all customers should have read their terms and conditions which is a massive document. They could not explain why the fee didnt include the additional cost although they were aware of all factors. I prefer to pay higher fees and work with honest companies. The movers were taking their sweet little time and initially stated it would take 5hours so I told them what to do and half the time they spent calling their office instead of actually doing things then it took less than the time initially agreed which was 2.5hrs. They are very dishonest.

    The overall service was disappointing, albeit not unexpected. The movers were not especially careful; they tried to get extra money out of me on the day; and they intentionally dragged out the moving time to try and charge extra (by spending 15 minutes in the bathroom; having a smoke by the van while unloading; carrying single small items up 2 flights of stairs). One of the movers told me he hated the other. Even though it was all very predictable it's disappointing that companies still don't understand that good service is more profitable than poor.

    They were very good. They came on time, and did all that was promised within three hours. There was no price shock and they didn't change the quote later unlike some other providers I had contacted. They didn't try to drag out the work in order to increase the bill. I would gladly recommend them to others.

    I recently utilized Removals Zone for my move, having selected them among 10 offers. I didn't have a lot of belongings, and I had packed everything on my own, so I've chosen this company given the reasonable price provided and flexibility with service.The movers (Martin and Rolan) were punctual and approached the task with efficiency. Despite I had all packed everything myself, they still took great care in handling my belongings.Removals Zone were responsive, accommodating in communication. Despite the simplicity of my move, they treated it with the same level of care and attention as a larger operation.Highly recommend if you seek for the stress-free and straightforward moving.

    I'd booked for 09:00 and noone turned up until 11:00. Absolutely no communication, it was entirely up to me to continually chase with vague information in return. Once they did turn up they had no straps or protective dust blankets so some of our furniture has turned up scratched and dented. Nothing was secured in the back of that Luton. The actual loading/unloading process was painful- slow and disorganised, I'm not sure they'd done many removals. We wished we'd actually just done it ourselves. To add insult to injury, they took an hour to make the 30 minute drive to our new property, let us know that they got lost then handed their phone over with the office trying to charge us more for running over time. (We were not charged in the end). Several hours later our tiny one-bedroom London flat was moved. Friendly enough, but I'd really suggest just doing it yourself.

    Arrived one hour and half late, I had to help to speed up and mitigate delay. No compensation was given for the delay and I was charged full amount.Staff did not want take shoes off new carpet or take items up ansking extra charges to do so. Not a reliable or value for money removal company.

    The customer service representative that called me to provide a quote was polite, professional and pleasant. The price quoted was decent, though proved fictitious. On the day, the two man team arrived late, dithered and delayed throughout and were careless with my possessions to the extent that they seriously damaged my sofa and a valuable teak sideboard that has sentimental value. This damage occurred because they did not use any of the blankets or protective materials I was assured they'd used when transporting my furniture outside. I observed them ramming my sofa into the lift without so much as placing a cloth on the floor to protect the material and they twisted and dragged my dresser across a brick pavement. At the end of the process they had the audacity to charge me an additional 38 for going 18 minutes beyond the 2 hour time I'd committed to for the move. Having carried a great number of my things to the van to load it and from the van to offload at the other, I can't envisage how the service provided could have been worse. I would not recommend their services to family or friends.

    After describing a list of contents, Removal Zone quoted 228. On moving day, they sent a small Luton van which didnt fit our contents, and therefore required a second trip across London. Total cost was 600! this was a studio flat moving from South London to West London. They required payment in cash on the day, and you are not in a good position to negotiate when they have your worldly goods in their van on the day you have to move. Also on the day, the dispatcher told us we would get 50 back from the 600 as they hadnt used all of the newly estimated time but we should just pay it up front - when I called afterwards they pretended not to know what I was talking about. The actual movers were fine and did an okay job but management were awful!

    It was the worst day of my life! One of the man was moaning about everything, he was slow and anytime he called his boss the price gone up. When I asked him to help me to install my washing machine he said that isnt his job. I wanted to leave there half of my furniture but they didnt understand and taken over everything to the new place. At the end I had to pay more than double the price of what we agreed before. I know that is in their policy agreement but I dont think its fair to be honest because nobody wants to send them away in the middle of a moving process. I would not recommend them.

    I wouldnt recommend this outfit to do your house move, we had large lorry and van, the van operator one of had a strange smell of alcohol and were extremely rude and damaged some items. The lorry operator were good. But their office changed the moving date as they moved us to storage facility but the date was changed to bring our stuff 2days later, that was very stressful for us as pensioners. Please dont approach them for your move

    The driver that came was extremely rude and impolite, seems he did not want to do the job, the van arrived with stuff already inside the van that was not mine which took up 40% of the space, when asked I was told to mind my business. The manager had to come in and intervene after 15 mins, but eventually cancelled the job which was a waste of day and more,. Will not be using ever again

    The Driver turned up on time and was very helpful. He was happy to wait 20mins for me whilst my ex landlord turned up to collect my keys before we took off. There was no issue about this with the driver. Unfortunately we got stuck on traffic on the M25 and after the Driver had helped me finish unloading - the company office called me to demand an extra 110 as the delivery took longer than expected. I explained that no call or text was communicated to me during the bad traffic issue and to demand extra money of me (which was eqivalent to the booking cost) was unreasonable and unprofessional.I wont use this company in future.

    Removals Zone were a great company to deal with. They kept in great contact over email (which I told them I preferred) and gave me information to help me sort local parking suspensions. On the day, I offered to help shift some bags but they were more than happy to just crack on themselves. They met my partner at the drop off location and they completed the job quickly and to a high standard with no accidental damages. I didn't go for the packing service so packed everything myself which made me a bit more nervous about breakages, bit I needn't be worried. The price was really impressive, especially as the distance we were moving was huge (LDN to MCR). Overall, really pleased with the company and their service, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

    Honestly it was like a scene from a comedy movie, eventually their van which pumped out a very unwholesome amount of black exhaust got stuck in some mud outside the house causing a 2+ hour delay - fortunately everything was received in tact although there was a further charge for very heavy furniture - probably not recommended!

    Cannot fault them at all. Office were easy to get hold of, stayed in touch and always answered the phone or emailed quickly. Turned up early, but didn't push, so were ready and waiting. They just cracked on, no grumbles... Finished sooner than they quoted me for, so charged me less. Hopefully I don't have to move again any time soon, but if I do, I would definitely use again. Literally the smoothest moving day I have ever had... And I have moved A LOT! Thanks guys if you see this.......

    Not professional, kept complaining to carry a few boxes. Were demanding extra money to carry a mattress up 10 stairs to the first floor, I had to do it myself while they watched and did not even help. Absolutely the worst service, I would never use them again.

    We ended up with damaged furniture, price being increased and holding furniture hostage until paid their invoice.Two vans was agreed at time of booking only one showed up then on removal day they wanted to charge full price for another van. I ended up using another company for the remaining furniture that couldn't fit. This is only the short version of my experience!

    Removals Zone were great and I would recommend them to anyone. The team were caring and as protective of my belongings as I am and I felt very safe that everything was in their hands. The guys who came and moved my furniture on the day didn't speak great English, but it didn't matter too much. The only thing they could improve on is their communication on the day of the move - the central office were not and could not get in touch with the driver whilst they were in transit and couldn't tell me an arrival time. As it was, they arrived 2 hours ahead of me in my car and I had to arrange for someone else to let them in. Had I known I would have arranged that in advance and saved myself some additional stress. I'd still recommend Removals Zone to anyone, especially because they are very well priced in comparison to their competitors

    Avoid at all costs! The experience was distressing, doubled the cost of my move, damaged my furniture, disturbed my neighbours and buyer. The delay of 5 hours contributed to me having a cold for 5 days and not being able to work. I have no words to say how bad it was really. If minus stars existed I would surely use them!

    I was really impressed with Removals Zone when we hired a Luton van and two men to load. I asked them to arrive between 10-11 and they arrived at 10 on the dot. They were so quick at loading the van and lifted everything without complaint and were polite and smiling throughout. Customer service was always quick to reply and no issues getting through on the phone. Great communication.

    Great customer service before the move. The only thing was I paid an extra fee for my new bedroom being on the 1st floor, but only the mattress was brought up and I had to ask for it to be. Apart from that, the move was fairly quick.

    I used Removal Zones on 13th August, to pack, deliver and assemble (one wardrobe) for a new apartment. I was extremely disappointed with the service of removal zones for the following reasons1. The two individuals who came on the day, spoke limited English and communication was very difficult.2. They packed things in different boxes, and failed to label boxes e.g. packed kitchen items with bedroom items3. They failed as promised to bubble wrap my kitchen items and multiple items were smashed4. They estimated the cost to be 4/5 hours, however took closer to 9 hours, and made me help them unpack even though I had a slipped disc in my back 5. They failed to correctly assemble my wardrobe, and charged me additional cost (labour time)6. They also left multiple items in my old flat, even though they were instructed to remove them - mainly due to poor English and communication skills7. I have send Removal Zones several photos proving this, called 8 times, yet no one has called me back or offered reasonable compensation for my broken itemsI wish I could upload photos here, to prove just how useless this company is.

    Due to a genuine mistake, the driver arrived on moving day with one less person and a smaller lorry than agreed. All comms had to be managed over the phone with customer services due to a language barrier, which took up more time. I spent over an hour trying to find another company to join the move last minute because we had to get to the storage facility by 5pm. Customer services were responsive but did not adequately reimburse us enough for the significant inconvenience and stress caused.The team worked quickly and worked well however the 3rd removals company that we used to move our belongings from storage to our new home had a lot of trouble finding where screws and fixtures had been left, as not all were taped securely or labelled to the relevant furniture. Although the mistake was genuine, it was costly in terms of time and money (using two companies), and also the stress is what everyone wants to minimise on moving day! I also think it is unfair to both parties that communication is limited on the day and think a better process needs to be in place to both inform and enable customers to communicate better with the team on the day.

    Overall, I think the removals company was good value for money and the costumer service was on point. As soon as I used "compare my move" to get quotes I received a phone call from removals zone swiftly. She assessed the contents for moving and requirements and provided me with a quote promptly. On the day of moving, I received a phone call from the customer services to give an approximate estimation of the removals crew to the nearest half hour. If I had to mention one negative thing, it would be that the quality of the removals crew which was at best amateur. The removals crew did not use the removals blankets to protect a few items of my furniture from the surface of the vehicle from scratches. The use of such blankets is stated will clearly be provided free of charge on the invoice once the deposit has been paid. I have moved every year for the last 6 years, and this is quite a basic thing that I think just needs a bit more of a removals crew training to provide that finesse approach.

    Drivers came over an hour late. Also, they damaged one of my fairly expensive tables and upon complaining to the customer service team I was told I should have mentioned to the drivers to be careful with the items, which of course I told them. I strongly assumed the company knows what they are doing and they are protecting items with any move without the customer having to explicitly tell them to cover up items as well. No monetary compensation received and I was even threatened with a lawsuit in the end. Would never recommend or use them again.

    Initially the company were very helpful with arranging quote and plan for full service of packing, dismantle and reassemble. This was quoted that it would take around 8 hours for a two bedroom, two storey, terrace cottage.On the day of the move two men arrived around two hours late (and worked incredibly hard) however this was not a job for only two men. You cannot claim to offer a full service in a day. They started at 10:30 and were still completing the job at 22:45. My husband and his brother had to help with the labour otherwise the job would not have been completed at all. It has then since taken us another hired van load, and three car fulls to complete the move as Removal Zone were unable to dismantle our wardrobe, among many other items left behind, such as a full cupboard of baby belongings, BBQ, garden items, hoover etc.When I phoned to discuss my disappointment Removal Zone threatened to call the police and retain our belongings unless we paid an additional price to cover the extra time required. This was around 300 more than original estimate. At no point were we rude just incredibly let down. I would not use this company again.

    Great guys didn't complain and I moved on hotest day of the year. They are reliable and I had trouble getting my keys and had to move date a few times and they was great about it. I highly recommend the company and if I had to move again I would defo use them again. They are 5* company and workers are excellent at there job. Let's say they had no problem carry downstairs from 2nd floor. Friendly happy hardworking removers and contact with office was 5* and nothing was a problem.

    Great service, efficient and reasonable value. Good customer service by phone and email for the quoting and booking process, and they were patient while our moving date moved around a bit...!The only downside was our removals men on the day didn't understand English, so we had to do a lot of gesticulating and pointing at what had to stay and go and need taking apart and reassembling etc. It didn't affect how good they were at the actual service though, just the communication!

    I got three guys for the price if two. One stayed in the van making sure no parking tickets were issued. My past experience with other companies I had to do the second guy's job because the second guy stayed doing this so I was grateful for these guys. They were quick , on time, efficient and strong. No fuss and took care of my items both when picking up and delivering it up the stairs. They were in other words respectful and also lovely. Completed in time so no extra charges. The smoothest and best out of three different companies, thank you! I would definitely recommend them.

    The worst removal company we have used, considering the number of moves in a period of 27 years. Whilst the pre-move customer service was efficient and communicative, move day blew any hope of it being a smooth or good experience.Lazy, disorganised, inefficient and one of the two workers, barely lifted anything, didnt bring power tools to dismantle a bed. Instead took an hour to use a screw driver. A complete waste of time and money.One of the workers was young and new, didnt really know how to start loading the van in an organised way. His colleague. A veteran Removals Zone worker, provided him with no support or guidance, so its unsurprising we had to instruct.The result was still 70% of the work, we completed ourselves, which was most of the heavy lifting and moving work.It would be better to hire a person with a van rather than have used these guys.On the day, customer service harassed with calls during high stress, didnt listen to our concerns or the issues.Equally, theyve not replied to my formal complaint, so legal action seems to be the only next step.

    They broke items but refused to repair because they have an unreasonable 1 day clause to reach out. Everyone knows fully unpacking in 1 day is not possible. But one has to unpack to discover the damage.

    Two men arrived, refused to move more than one item until I rang the head office to get them to call the men to do the work. Neither spoke much English. They broke furniture, ripped the fabric of my sofa and scraped paintwork and took chunks out of wall and wooden doors as they tried to get the furniture out. I definitely would not recommend!!!!!!!

    The actual people doing the moving were nice, but the company hadnt given them the correct information, they turned up expecting something very different. The estimated duration was wrong so ending up costing a lot more, and ran into the out of hours extra charge which was particularly frustrating when they were nearly 2 hours late starting. Nothing broken though, and the movers themselves were nice to work with, though I get the impression theyre not treated well by the overall company.

    The customer service experience was good. I received quotations in time and customer support execs were quick in resolving any queries. On issue was that they took deposit online but wanted rest of they payment as cash which is an inconvenience.But there are some challenges with their work force, which definitely needs addressing. The work force needs serious grooming:1. The workers were at all listening to what I was saying and were throwing the boxes here and there. They were ignorant of what boxes were fragile and what were not.2. On moving into the new place they requested to use the washroom, which is perfectly fine but they made a huge mess there and left it very dirty.3. They were staring and passing comments, whispering about or neighbours, especially women.

    They will quote you a price and then on the day they spent almost triple that time so that they can collect more money from you. And they will lock your things in their van until you pay. The people that came to move my stuff didnt even come with a trolley and the ended up breaking my desk. They would take one box downstairs in the lift one at a time then take 20 minutes to come back up again. They used my boxes to hold open the doors in the apartment building? What if someone took one? And the icing on the cake is that they dont speak or understand English!!!I ended up reporting them to the police and removing my things from the van myself one by one while they threatened and shouted at me. I paid deposit and thats all the money they will get from me after that experience.

    Worst customer experience I've ever had.- over five hours late and ended up sub contracting the job- set wrong expectation with sub-contractors who were tired and angry when they understood removal zone had lied to them- could not remove my sofas when the expectation was set (in writing) from my initial enquiry, that they would need to remove the arms in order to move it (its also mentioned in the quote)- overcharged me (charged for x3 men when they only provided x2)- threatened me stating that there was no dispute process and that if I did not pay on the spot, the removal men would not leave my house

    Appaling service. They arrived in the morning only to tell us that 1 guy had hurt his back then they went. We had to wait until 3.30pm for another crew to turn up. They too ages to load the van & kept complaining about the stairs & that there was too my h equipment to move!! Even though I had emailed the company a list of what there was to move & informed them about the 4 small flights of stairs, which they charged more for. After all we had to endeavour from them they then expected me to pay extra because they had gone over the 4 hours timeslot, which was down to them because they spent some of that 4 hours on their phone comlaining about how much there was to move!! I have never felt so stressed before & would never use this company again & I certainly wouldn't reccomend them to anyone. A very disappointing experience

    The service we got from Removals Zone was excellent from start to finish! From the booking stage through to the last items being unloaded by the team we have been very happy with the level of professionalism and the value for money we got compared to what we were quoted by other companies. We used a comparison site but although the team offered the most affordable quote they were always on hand for any queries and made the whole process very easy to organise. We had two pick up locations in London and a drop off 200 miles away and they managed it all in a day! Since they over estimated the time we then got a refund on the hours not used which we didn't expect and therefore was an even better deal than the original quote offered. The removal team were friendly and efficient and did a great job loading and unloading. Nothing was damaged and they took care when moving our bedroom furniture upstairs so overall we have been impressed!

    The guys arrived on time and were ok, but the office constantly called me as I was waiting for the sake to complete, surely as a removal company they are aware that there can be a delay while the sale/purchase goes through. Moving is stressful enough without being chased every 15 minutes for something out of my control. The extra 180 charge for a heavy item was also a bit harsh but by this time I was to tired to argue. Was extremely expensive but unfortunately did not have much choice as it was short notice, way more expensive than more experienced well known removal companies.

    To be honest this was the only company I could get due to the fuel shortage. It wasnt a good experience and i wouldnt use them or recommend them. They did not provide the correct size van so only half our belongings were delivered, they broke my sons cot beyond repair and damaged our king size bed. Arguably the two most important items in the move were broken/damaged. They were slow which was costing me money. We were compensated 40 for the 375 cot. The van was cheap in price but I guess you get what you pay for. Disappointing service.

    Hard to overstate how terrible an experience it was using this company. Really, really dreadful customer service and the packers were appalling. The stress of moving was magnified to an enormous degree by the performance of the packers (late, too few, complaining constantly, left early, simply ignored loads of cupboards, didn't label many boxes) but especially of the customer service on the day. Such an awful experience from start to finish. We have made a complaint which has had no response at all, unsurprisingly.

    Messed us about all day saying their van had broken down and giving no information so I had to call repeatedly to ask for updates. Then when they finally got the the storage unit to collect items they picked up approx 15 items and claimed they were told by the storage unit they couldn't take any more - they did not call us to discuss this. Finally turned up 5 hours late with items we could have collected by ourselves in a taxi. On bringing in the few items they managed to knock a huge chunk out of our BRAND NEW flat wall and didn't say anything, just picked up the bits of wall and pretended it didn't happen. Then had the absolute cheek to ask for further payment and refused to give 75 deposit back.

    The removing people were very unprofessional and the move took a lot longer than planned as they are older and have an attitude. Bear in mind, they knew how many flights of stairs there were as I had to pay extra for the total of 3 flights of stairs.Tried to charge me a 80 fine because they parked on the road where they could have been fined - apparently it was my job to secure the parking, would have been easier to rent a zipcar and do it myself. Told them to come back to me when they get the fine.The van not only got parked in because there was no one looking after the van which was wide open with my possessions. They also smoked whilst sitting in front of the open van door.

    Removal men did not take care of belongings: dragging boxes down stairs; dropping boxes when putting them down; limited or no use of protective sheets in the van for mattresses or items of furniture.Difficult to communicate with the delivery men, who spoke limited English.No invoice issued for additional waiting time, but payment requested on the day. No complaints about having to pay more (I was delayed getting to the move site), but when head office asked for feedback on the day, the delivery men followed me around the house.

    They only sent 2 guys even when I suggested 3, I gave them the floor plan of my new townhouse and a video tour of what they had to pack but when they got to my new house they said they wouldnt do stairs. Even thou they charged me extra for being 4 floors. My 66 year old mother, my husband and I all had to empty the truck with them. They didnt label any of the boxes so half the kitchen boxes ended up in the bedroom (that we carried upstairs based on their direction) and in the end it cost twice what they quoted.

    I would not recommend this moving company to others. When I arranged the move I advised that there was no parking outside my Flat but was parking around the corner they could use. They took a deposit but on the Day the movers were 3 hours late, they then proceeded to spend 45 minutes complaining they couldn't park anywhere despite us telling them where to park instead of parking and helping us move. I ended up cancelling with them as it was obvious they were not going to help us move and in the 45 minutes they spent complaining we could have moved all our furniture into their van. Despite not helping us they kept my deposit which is a bit ridiculous considering they did not help at all and were unprofessional.

It ended up the driver (arrived 955) on his own till 4pm with my son and myself carrying most of boxes down and into new flat at the other end.They then wanted to charge me extra 190 for the packing materials they hadn't used, on top of full price for moving and driving. Then they conveniently forgot I had paid deposit and wanted full balance!The two guys that they provided worked well but wouldn't recommend company.

    I would not recommend them. Customer service was very poor. At time of booking they did not specify how the balance was to be paid. However, at the end of the job they wanted me to pay over 500 in cashon the spot without any receipt. I insisted I paid through my debit card, which they finally agreed . The actual employees who drove and loaded and unload were very good and polite.

    3 hours after the job was booked, the removal job was delayed for 5 days because the van (their only one?) broke down. The 2 men arrived in a smokey, rusty van, without the agreed protective blankets for the items to be moved, and without the tools necessary to complete the job agreed. The packaging material ordered did not arrive and was later found to be 'out of stock'. Chaep but unreliable and unprofessional.

    Yes. Without doubt. I already have. The team worked really hard to load the truck from our flat. With difficult street access and a hot day they did a quick job and made a secure load. I was also happy that they did not want to underestimate or risk multi trips by sending a 12 ton truck to get the job done in a single journey. Unfortunately when we reached our destination a bank issue out of our hands meant that we werent able to unload till the following day. The customer service team made sure that we had the same truck and team returning the next day, to save unloading and loading again. This ensured we were able to make the unload as smooth as possible. A day late but easier because of this fantastic crew.

    The guys that came to do the moving were super unprofessional. They complained about the amount of boxes, the time, everything.. they were really unfriendly and slow. I was helping, and did quite a lot and Im a girl! I took a taxi and arrived at the unloading address a lot faster, they arrived about 20 min later and of course I was charged for overtime, which wouldnt be a problem if at least they were nice.. I would not recommend this company, very poor service..

    The company were 4.5 hours late, we were meant to move at 12pm and we had booked 4 weeks to our move out date and the movers turned up at 4:30pm from a late previous job. There was no regular updates. We had to call to ask how long they were going to be and each time they extended the length. Poor service and customer handling.

    On the day of my move, the driver that was supposed to take care of my move was feeling ill, so they couldn't make it as planned - I cant blame their driver for feeling, especially during a pandemic - but they managed to get another team to complete my move on the same day, just a bit later, so it was absolutely fine in the end!
    The team taking care of my move was really nice, really quick and efficient, and wearing their mask. The whole thing was done in less than 2 hours, even with some London traffic (One bedroom flat with some furniture).
    Would 100% recommend, and will use them again if I move again.

    The quote I was given was A?220 after I told him that Ia??ve 5 furniture in total plus only a A?20 fixed rate for travelling as it is outside London and to go for. 3.5 tonnes van. I deposited A?65 for confirmation.
    On the day two guys turned up and after checking about the items to move, the office contacted me and stated that they have to do 3 trips instead of one trip as we agreed because of the stuffs I had. I informed him only 5 big items and he will have to expect people has cloth and kitchen stuffs. He was very persistent to let him know if I would agree with the 3 trips.
    After 10 minutes of moving stuffs, the office called again and wanted to know if I can confirm the 3 trips. I told him that his guys are having a fag after 10 minutes of start
    He called again and again but once the van was loaded with all the furnitures ( 1 x wardrobe- 1 x fridge 1 x dryer - one sofa bed and a single bed) plus some bags, I told him that I will only do 1 trip because that will cost me around A?700+. He was again stressing that I pay A?220 before unloading. I had to chase them for getting back my 1/2 hour money.
    Unreliable and very bad very bad service, little dents on my new fridge

    They were fast and first to respond to the request for quotes. They immediately gave me an estimate based on an understanding of my requirements via a call (vs another who needed a full inventory and video for an estimate) and they gave me competitive rates. Their estimate was spot on and just shows perhaps how they leverage well on their experience. The move day went by without issues, they started on time, ended on time just as they said. As they charge for use, this was quite a feat. Highly recommend them and I dona??t think you can get this service at their rates for central London.

    The customer service team have been fine so this isna??t feedback about them. The removal service men however...
    They showed up, one on the phone, didna??t say a word until wea??re inside the flat.
    He then expressed concerns about the parking (30 min limit), I told him it was fine if we went over by a bit and got a ticket id deal with it. He then spent the next ten minutes on the phone.

    They start moving stuff - moaning, grumbling the whole time like this is the worst job theya??ve ever done - and not a single other word is said to us despite repeated offers from our end to help to speed the process up. We end up moving stuff into the street & hoping for the best.

    I then get a call from their office. Theya??ve a??decideda?? not to move the sofa bed (listed in the inventory)

    On the day of the move.

    My partners parents arrive, eventually his dad tries to move it himself and they give it a half-hearted attempt to move, but by now theya??ve packed the van poorly and there isna??t really space anymore without unpacking.

    We end up hiring Any van to come pick it up at a later date who got it out in 2 min. Removal Zone gave us a half hour discount, not enough to cover the additional cost.

    They disassembled the furniture, brought it to the new place and said that they were not able to reassemble them. The company said that they need to send another team to reassemble the furniture at an extra cost.

    They also threat us not to download our furniture because I did not agree to pay the extra money they were asking for.

    Also, the team who came to our place could not speak english. One of the guy had to translate every single word to the other one.

    I would say take the more expensive quote from a more trustworthy company. These guys ended up costing me twice as much as a more expensive moving company would have cost due to missing and damaged items; and the quote doubling on the day.

    While they seemed helpful throughout, my quote ended up doubling on the day of service. I have requested a final itemised receipt showing the breakdown of this three times so far and still have received nothing (payment has to be made over the phone before they unload your goods).

    An expensive speaker (value A?250) went missing and they refuse to acknowledge it, simultaneously arguing that they are not responsible for anything that is missing!? And also claiming that they 'remember clearly' delivering that one specific (expensive and easy to sell) item.

    They also damaged two pieces of furniture and have offered a paltry A?40 compensation (and only because I was able to produce both an inventory of all items to move and photos of the items pre-damaged and sent to them before the move).

    They did accept liability for a vase that was broken.

    We booked the full packing service, with furniture dis/re-assembly to reduce our stress on the day and they quoted 5.5 hours in total. The office staff were communicative and professional throughout this process.

    The service itself was abysmal:
    - They took over 12 hours to move a 1 bed flat.
    - They were maskless throughout.
    - They didn't reassemble furniture as paid, and left a lot of items at the old flat - too much to fit into a car so we had to hire a second removals company.
    - They broke over A?500 work of items and caused damage in the old flat which is having a severe impact on our deposit.

    Upon receiving the complaint - with photographic evidence - they either said that the team doesn't recall most of the items they broke, that we should have told them not to gauge huge scrapes through the walls in the flat and hallway, or that we need to make a further payment to have the claim considered. They agreed to waive the further payment as a 'good will gesture' but have completely refused any responsibility.

    Their quote was explained simply. I actually had to change details of the destination due to finding a larger storage unit. This was simple and they informed me it made the cost less. It was already very competitive at A?100s of pounds less than other companies. The 2 men who moved everything arrived 5 minutes ahead of time and began work immediately. They never complained and were very fast workers. When we went to the storage unit, they arrived 5 minutes before I did, and I hadn't wasted any time.     We had a really good experience of the customer service on the other end of the telephone (I saw other reviews that complained about this part, but my experience was super polite, very efficient, answered all my questions, etc.). Our two moving men were also super efficient, really friendly, and very patient when our seller took an extra two hours to vacate the property...

    I cannot recommend removals zone if you are planning a house move. We specifically hired this company and requested they wear full antibacterial suits - this was the only reason we actually chose the company. This is due to me being clinically extremely vulnerable to COVId. On the morning of the move they told me they did not have the suits available, and if I wanted them the movers would be 3 hours late. 3 hours late was not an option as the house had to be vacant by 2pm (they said they would end up arriving at 3pm if they had to wear the suits). One of the movers did not wear his mask over his nose also. On top of this they have very badly damaged our large chest of drawers, ita??s clearly been dropped as all of the drawers have broken in half. There is also large gashes taken out of the painted wood on the corners. While the guys who did the move were nice guys and very helpful, I cannot recommend this company.

    One of the worst experience I have had with a removal company. Boys who came for removals didn't know English. It was simply impossible to get across. I must say boys were nice. However, they weren't trained. When oredering the removal, I requested for video review of my apartment for removal but the person who booked said it's not needed. On the day of removal the vehicle they sent end up short of space!!! I have to rebook another vehicle for next day!!! I was furious to say the least. My Ikea furniture wasn't reassembled properly (offered the assembly instruction booklet to boys - declined) and got damaged. All the time the company was bothered about their payment, not service! I wouldn't recommend anyone to use their service in near future. My opinion from the experience I had.

    The lads turned up to move our furniture - you get what you pay for. but i would have expected them to be at least wearing face masks and a few rugs to protect the furniture would have been appreciated. Otherwise the guys were friendly and efficient.

    Removal team didn't speak English and appeared surprised by the number of stairs even through this had been clearly communicated. Wore no masks at any point. Took a long time to move anything so ended up moving a lot of the boxes myself. Central office then phoned up to say the balance needed paying is cash or they wouldn't unload which wasn't communicated when the deposit was paid online. Poor service would not use again.

    I could not be happier with my removal team. They were brilliant, didn't speak much English but we managed to have a laugh whilst moving my 2 bed flat from London to Wales. Nothing was too much trouble. They had the luton van loaded in less than hour - INCREDIBLE!!! The whole move plus unloading was done before 3pm. Not a single item (and i have a lot of fragile stuff) was damaged. I have moved many many times and it has always been horrible but I actually enjoyed this move. Can't thank them enough

    Terrible, late, poorly organised, rude, money grabbing, disgusting customer service. We were drastically misquoted for the service required (I suspect on purpose) requiring 4 trips between our old and new property in the too small van which was not loaded to full due to concerns about over loading. If our move had not been local this would not have been an option. The removal men turned up an hour late on packing day and left two hours early having run out of packing materials - packing and dismantling of furniture was not finished. They arrived two hours late the following day and did not leave until 10:45pm having not rebuilt our furniture as quoted for. When I asked for fair compensation for the poor service received by the customer service representative who demanded payment on the day of the move, I was told I was bargaining and accused of never having intended to pay the full balance despite having made all other payments up front. A?50 is not fair compensation for the appalling service we received which cost over A?1500. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

    Came without blankets for furniture; ended up having to bubble wrap everything so that it doesnt get destroyed in the van; and still had some damage.

    Refused to take all items, and had to order a separate Addison Lee van to transport the other stuff while there was enough space in the van

    Removals Zone turned up at 8am at my Highbury, London address and I had to leave at around 11am as I had an appointment with TalkTalk Engineer in my new home. The two removal men and their vans never showed at my new home in Epping until 9:45pm in the evening the same day. I was then called by their manager and he increased the price by A?738 British Pounds and bullied plus threatened me that if I did not give him my card details, the two removal men would not offload my furniture and belongings. I am a single older man of 74 and had no option at the time but to give them the account details. The first estimate was for A?645 then increased several times to A?1053, A?1156 and the final payment was A?1620.35.
    My Longinnes expensive wrist watch is missing plus an a one pair of designer spectacles They also left many of my other belongings in my previous flat which I had to arrange for a Man a Van to deliver to my new home incurring extra expense. I do not recommend this company of removals to anyone else.

Then I realize why did not bring removal trolley. # Due to poor quality of work I told them not to reassemble sliding doors cupboard &study table. Pick up to drop off took 12 min. As soon they arrived to drop off address, I received a call from Removals Zone office, asking for 7.5 hours payment in cash only & gave me 3 options: Pay in cash for 7.5 hours to complete the job or Pay in cash A?200 & they will left my belonging outside or They will take my belonging to office

    Quick and easy. But when they got a bit lost due to traffic diversions, head office wouldn't allow me to speak directly to the drivers - therefore took more time. But was eventually resolved and got moved with good price for the time it took moving 50 miles. I would recommend this company for moving up to a 2 bed house/flat but no bigger than that.

    1. I explained the amount of stuff I had to the office, specifying the number of boxes, and knew that it was not a large amount, but was told I would need 2 luton vans. Upon arrival, the team was shocked at how little I had when they had come with 2 vans. It barely filled half on one luton van. So I have ended up paying extra money that wasn't needed. When I said this to the company afterwards, they told me the removal team told the office I had less boxes than I had stated. Why would I say I had more than I actually have, to end up paying more money??

    2. Importantly, and very seriously, NONE of the men who came to do the job were wearing a mask or any type of PPE. No gloves or hand sanitiser was used while handling my items. And no mask or gloves were offered to me, as was stated would be the case in an earlier email. This is a serious breach of current guidelines and could potentially have put my household at risk. I am very unhappy with this, as I specifically chose this company due to the precautions you said you were taking currently due to Covid 19 which assured me that myself and my household would be kept safe.

    Removal Zone was professional and the guys very helpful. They were a bit late because of traffic but were we when finding them on the other side. The move went smoothly and they took care of our furniture very well. Only downside, which was in the small print but I hadn't noticed, is that they only take cash on the day so I had to go and withdraw money in a hurry. But overall it was a good service at a very good price!

    Turn up with 1 experienced and 1 brand new removal bloke. This meant it took double the time. In The process they damaged a wardrobe & fridge freezer. We came to find out they were not insured to move the American Fridge freezer and should have actually refused to move, instead they decided to continue & then damaged it.
    Their customer service has been poor & refused any sort of compensation apart from a discount on my next move with them. Safe to say I will never be using them again.

    Three and a half hours late on packing day with no phone call or email. I had to phone them 3 times to try and get an update. Poor communication on the 1st day from the packing team who were unfriendly.
    Second day team were much better and very efficient and friendly. Worked quickly and most furniture arrived the other end in good condition. My sofa had dark marks all over it where it had been stood up in the van. These stains have not come out.
    They tried to overcharge me over the phone when it came to paying on the second day.
    The value for money overall was good but I would not use them again due to poor customer service.

    All was OK until move out day. For a 2 bed rented flat (limited furniture) located in a small close in London, they sent a transport truck. They were then very unkind regarding the parking situation - upset with us for not reserving enough space for a 7 ton lorry.... the packers literally threw our belongings into boxes, wrapped one - i repeat one box worth of items only in single sheet paper (our collection of Belgian beer glasses) and didn't use the massive roll of bubble wrap they brought, which we were charged for. They mixed electronic items with open bottles of shampoo and toiletries. They didn't bring tools even though we'd ask for a disessembling service. They didn't bring pens to label the boxes (and therefore didn't lable any of the boxes), they were overall very unprofessional and pretty incompetent. The actual movers were OK and things on the move day were exellent. The cutomer service was shockinly poor after we made a complaint about the packing. It took nearly 2 months for them to give us a very measly discount, we received no apologies and were very stressed by the whole thing. Terrible company

    Awful experience. They stacked the trolleys at our storage unit too high on multiple occasions. We had one chest of drawers fall off and crack. They then dropped two boxes which totally smashed. One was labelled as fragile as it had two laptops carefully wrapped in it. Both smashed as they fell onto concrete. Removals Zone refused to pay out for any of it, citing terms and conditions we had never been sent that said they wouldna??t pay for: anything electrical, any box we packed ourselves, anything bought from ikea, anything under A?150 in value.     The delivery men were very polite and courteous. They were 2 hours late and we received 2 conflicting reasons for this from customer service and the delivery men.
    Due to the lateness we got stuck in traffic and then a delivery man required to leave dying delivery for medical reasons but returned shortly. This was okay, it just required extra work from me and it prolonged the process in which I was charged. I was quoted 2 hours and ended up paying for 3 due to the above reasons. No discussion or alternative was offered doe to a??terms and conditionsa?? which was unfortunate.

    Very efficient once they got going, although one of the drivers was smoking around our things while loading the van, but stopped as soon as we asked. One thing I would mention is there didna??t seem to be any covid precautions eg gloves or hand sanitiser.

    The night before they called me and asked to change the pick up time by 2 hours earlier, which I couldna??t, then they asked for 2 hours later, so I said ok but they had to be on time. This was frustrating as I purposefully booked in advance to get the time I needed as I was coordinating a number of people from abroad. Then on the day, they were over 2 hours late (4 hours later than my original booking!) with no communication to tell me they were running late so I had to call them. Then, they also said they could not accept payment of the balance by bank transfer even though they had already accepted the deposit by bank transfer?! They should have communicated this to me as I had already told them I live overseas and my UK debit card isna??t working which is why they accepted bank transfer for the deposit in the first place. So in the end I had to call a friend in the UK to make the payment for me! I found the whole experience very stressful and unprofessional and will not be using again! They knew I am overseas and 8 hours ahead and I ended up staying up to the early hours to sort this all out. They didna??t even confirm when the job was done either.

    I called the office on the day of my move as my movers deliberately wasted time and moved things slowly, stopping for cig breaks 20 mins in. The man i spoke to was lovely, apologised, told me they would stay in touch by email, thought he may be able to compensate me as i had paid for the extra, unnecessary 30 minutes otherwise they wouldn't unload the van, and said he'd send a receipt. I have never heard from them again. My stuff was all there, and no breakages, but really was far too stressful an experience. (they didn't even ask if i wanted them to wear masks etc). I wont recommend or use again.

    Overall it was good however the removal men damaged some of our furniture as well as a wall in our new property. We only realised this a few days later so could not say anything on the day.

    I will be in touch with removal zone about this. It was an expensive piece of furniture and we will have to cover the cost of the damaged wall.

    I moved from London to Manchester with all of the contents of my flat. Removals Zone provided me with the best quote and were so helpful throughout the whole sales process. I had a lot of questions but Neil and others on the team really took their time to make sure I was comfortable and had had all of my questions answered before taking the deposit.

    Removals Zone called me the day before my move to confirm everything and to check that I didna??t have any more questions and on the morning of the move, my man was half an hour late but they called me to let me know.

    The move itself was so smooth, I only booked one man (Yannis) so I had to help but he was very happy to do as much as he could on his own. He was really polite and helpful and as we were packing most stuff into a garage he was really good at making sure we slotted everything in in the most efficient way.

    When he finished, the office called me and informed me that as hea??d finished an hour early the final price was even a bit cheaper than the original quote! Every other time I have moved with man and van businesses I have ended up being charged more at the end so this was a very welcome first!

    Highly recommend!

    The pre-move customer service was good and the staff over the phone very polite.
    But on the day, the removals staff were rude and packed my items extremely carelessly. They dropped fragile items into boxes with no protection, even when I asked that they be careful. They left my boxes unattended for long periods of time in a busy street in central London. And despite having recommended several parking areas, they parked carelessly in a no-parking zone.
    I would not recommend this company.

    They were painfully slow at moving, often carrying one light box at a time. They only half-filled the van meaning additional trips were required.They tried to refuse to move our wardrobe because it looked difficult, even though we had successfully moved it ourselves on a previous occasion. We were then charged extra because the job took longer than the quote time.

    Quick and friendly communication, however the decision to dispatch a 2-man team for a 2 bedroom apartment proved highly problematic and a good removal company would not recommend this approach. The first team worked slowly and showed little professionalism as they did not carry boxes upstairs until one of them hurt his arm. A second team did not manage to finish on time and a third team, all consisting only of 2 men, had to finish the job on day 2.

    The movers dragged furniture along the floor creating scratches on a new floor.

    The overall experience tainted our joy of moving to a new home and left an unpleasant aftertaste.

    Do not trust this company. I supplied detailed information about my move and they quoted me two hours. 3 hours in and arriving at the new house the movers stopped work and the office called to demand an additional A?116 as my flat was on the top floor and that I had heavy items (a chest filled with books that had previously been declared). None payment would have resulted in my stuff being left on the street. Total cowboys.

    Very quick at replying before the move. However after the move when they smashed up my tv and garden table they have proved very difficult to get in touch. Attempting to absolve themselves of any responsibility for the TV, saying that it wasnt wrapped in bubble wrap (it was) and that as there is no exterior damage (the screen is smashed) they cant help.

    Really disappointing as they were very pleasant to deal with up until this point.

    After finally replying to me they offered a paltry and frankly insulting amount as compensation which would barely cover the delivery cost of a replacement TV.

    I can't recommend Removals Zone highly enough. Their customer service was great, their office team were very responsive and gave us a great value price. On the day, their two-man team worked quietly, non-stop, with no complaints or fuss to efficiently load and unload the van. They manoeuvred a number of awkward pieces down the stairs and had their own tools to disassemble and re-assemble a wardrobe that wouldn't go. Top stuff - 5* service

    We got a quote for two trips and 5.5 hours, which we thought was quite a lot. We feared that the movers would waste a lot of time. We were very pleasantly surprised when the movers managed to fit all our things into the van in one go and completing the move in exactly 2 hours. No time wasted and we paid only for the 2 hours (+tip which the movers deserved!). Would definitely choose this company again.

    Used their packing and removal service.
    Packing was terrible and draws where tipped into boxes and my shirts and suits dumped into a normal box all creased.
    Quote that was given was put up by a quarter even though I was not moving any beds or wardrobes because I told them I had 3 children.
    Day of removal from 2 bedroom ground floor flat to 3 bedroom house took nearly 6 hours as boxes where not labelled and men very slow and charged an extra A?250 for overtime.
    Would never use again or recommend.

    Very bad experience
    * They arrived with 7 box for a whole flat while I told them before that It would request at least 30 box
    * One of the guys very inexperienced puffing all day
    * A chest of drawers has been damaged (a refund a 20A? provided)
    * Half of an expensive bottle of rum pour in a box because put in a wrong way
    * One bathroom cleaning product broken because put in a wrong way
    * Cutlery and hangers left in the old flat
    * Customer service in bad faith arguing that it is my fault if it went wrong
    * customer service threaten to pursue if I do not pay on time (which I did...)

    They broke a few lamps and plants I had. They waived responsibility and even though the damage totaled up to more than 800 pounds, they only offered 80 pounds. This is completely ridiculous. Additionally, they took a far longer time than they quoted despite reassuring to the contrary. I would be incredibly reticent of going with this company. Additionally, they were dishonest in charging me for their time. They charged me for an extra hour even though they were late.

    They are very dishonest and In my experience with removals companies there has been none that has left me with as much frustration as they have.

    Super efficient and fast, everything was done within an hour. Only issue was that they briefed us with the licence plate of the van ahead of the move and sent a different vehicle on the day without informing us. Also the removal people did not get our address quite right but luckily we were able to walk 5 minutes down the road and direct them to our property. Between the drivers being a little lost/confused and it not being the van we expected, we were initially worried that it wasn't legitimate. Thankfully the team on the phone were helpful enough, but I was honestly still concerned about putting all of our earthly belongings into this van. Overall though, we wouldn't have found a cheaper price than this for our 1-bed move, it all worked out fine and would use again. Thank you.

    This company will massively under estimate the job, despite a comprehensive inventory, leaving you to pay much more then expected. Packing &moving a 1 bed flat one mile took 15 hours (estimate was 8!), & job not finished in that time had to pay A?300 extra, job not completed & the poor removal men were wrecked & overworked. Very poor customer service, immoral management. Avoid.

    They were good. Despite booking 2 men and a van 3 guys turned up. All worked hard and they made it clear they were providing an extra person so suggested they should be compensated for it. I had read reviews about similar situations so knew what to expect. We gave them what we thought was fair and they were happy with it. Despite the extra money it was still very good value for money

    Good service and two efficient and friendly movers.

    They handled the furniture generally carefully, but unfortunately left marks on the wall when they carried a sofa up the stairs. I paid by the hour as opposed to a fixed price (which the company also offered), which turned out to be more expensive - therefore value for money was okay, but not great.

    I'd consider RemovalsZone for another move along with other companies.

    Unhelpful and unfriendly. Didna??t seem aware of what the job was. The van was way to small so they did two trips which was fine but then they made a big deal about having to do a second trip. They didna??t seem to know the job was and seemed very annoed that they had to dismantle the bed and take the washing machine and fridgefreezer. They damaged our sofa shoving it through the living room door way and made a hole in our wall at the same time. Everything was a problem or issue and it made the whole day even more stressful than it needed to be. I would not recommend or ever use again.

    poor service, they tricked us providing a convenient quote for 2 hours with additional charges for every 30 min. In the end they worked for more than 6 hours doing the job really slow making sure they take their time. Where supposed to be two men transporting some boxes (33) and a little sofa from a one two bed room flat to a 2. The flats distance is 15 mi. by car. I had to keep chasing them as I found them few times talking on their phones ( non working related stuff) and taking the boxes one by one instead of using the carrier they brought. They were really rude and worked really slow charge us for every 30 min. extra work. Extremely disappointed will never ever call a removal service again

    We had three guys helping us to relocate 190 miles up north. Guys were incredibly fast, loaded within one hour and unloaded even quicker. The only issue we had to wait for them for 4 hours as they broke down on the motorway. Otherwise ita??s good and professional company and can highly recommend to everyone. Also very cheap. We paid half to what other companies were asking. So very happy

    I have never in my life met such rude useless boys in my life. Couldnt speak English, sent a van too small for my things and said I needed to buy another van? Trashed my leather sofa and my bedroom chair. Smashed my frame record collection. Covered nothing up. Put my expensive mattress down in the road and got it covered in black marks. Kept taking things in and out of van trying to fit everything in to no avail.They gave all a good shove and broke a lot of valuable things. But hastily makes you sign a disclaimer form before you have time to check anything, they made a very stressful day turned into a nightmare. I'm disabled and felt like I didn't even rate talking too. Do not touch this shambles of a company with anyone's barge pole!

    Unfortunately this moving was disaster from beginning to end. 1 bedroom flat with minimum of furniture and all stuff ready and packed, took about 7 and half hours time to load and unlikely ad with crew not coming back for up to 10 minutes between single items, dismounting bed and sofa for couple hours, it took them even longer to put it back together with loose screws, upside down parts and everything was moving and squeaking. The last drop was wardrobe which fall apart, shoe cupboard with broken legs and chipped mirror. We had to throw these thing away and dismount and mount again all the rest of furniture so it will be in usable condition.
    The only positive side was the kind customer service, although they weren't able to help during the moving process.

    Removals Zone had great customer service, they were quick to respond, easy to get hold of and transparent. They communicated clearly. Also they delivered on what they promised including time of arrival and price which is very important.
    2 issues: 1) We wanted to move as quickly as possible & when we were quoted for 9 hours of work we didn't think anything of it, however, on moving day the house was 80% packed up in 1.5hrs. We told the moving men we'd go on ahead & meet them at the new property. Because we knew how far along they were we expected they'd be 1-2 hours behind us. In fact they were 7 hours which was a complete exaggeration. We didn't mind paying the money but it was clear they were buying time to ensure they were paid their full fare.
    2) Major issue. When we were in the property helping pack-up, each plate was meticulously wrapped, everything being placed properly in each of the boxes. However when we unpacked in the evening it was clear things had been thrown in boxes. Fine overall apart from - toilet brushes thrown into boxes with toothbrushes (& toweling + other random items). The thought still makes me sick - throw toilet brushes away or worst case put in sealed bag

    Update 29th January 2018 - 2 weeks post move. Removals Zone has got in touch with me since I posted my review, and apologized for the problems I had. They have gone out of their way to do what they feel is appropriate to make things right. I have received a further discount on the fee I paid. So for the damage and issues I had, which I provided photographic proof of, I had a total refund given of A?40 off my fee. I appreciate that they have done this, and acknowledge their desire and willingness to try and fix things. However, this doesn't change the fact that I didn't have a great experience and I wouldn't recommend using their services to my family or friends. I love supporting independent businesses and I hope that they can put measures in place to ensure that moving forward these sorts of experiences don't happen for other customers and they can improve their business.     Original feedback: I was disappointed by the service on the day. The admin in lead up to the move was good. But the movers themselves didn't take good enough care, 3 items were damaged, one was overlooked and missing - found the next day in their truck upon my querying - and it was damaged. They took longer than they should have and were dealing with other phone calls etc. on my time. They weren't particularly personable, but ultimately got the job done I suppose. The office begrudgingly agreed to reduce my bill for the damages incurred, at my absolute insistence, before I paid the balance of the bill. The whole experience just did not feel very nice at all. I had to pay the balance of the bill straight away, that evening, like they didn't trust me. Whole thing left me with a bad feeling. I wouldn't recommend.

    All staff I dealt with were polite and very accommodating. However, cheap initial quote which more than doubled on the day of the move (apparently this is quite common for this company as advised by the porters). The move should have taken 3hrs but ended up taking 6! They arrived an hour late with 1 man short (asked for 3 men, only 2 arrived). Also, one of the movers had to run a personal errand on the day of the move leaving me to move stuff and then pay for the privilege.

    Quoted 4-5 hours to move content of one bedroom flat, ended up taking 12 hours. Removal men packed plants at the bottom of boxes and then loaded crockery and books on top, left important items such as wardrobe screws and brackets at property we were moving from, complained about the number of boxes and their weight, asked me to feel how heavy the boxes were, failed to remove items that were requested specifically (curtain and rail). Would not recommend if an efficient service is what you are after.

    The team were late, they didna??t take care of our belongings, and despite me explaining which items needed wrapping/carrying/stacking carefully the team didna??t take note. Our very expensive marble and gold bar trolley was wheeled along cobblestones, damaging the wheels, scuffing the paint and nearly shattering the marble on top. Boxes clearly labelled as fragile were balanced precariously. A box of glassware was dropped and since sending detail of the breakage the company has gone completely silent, not returning our emails to arrange compensation. We also never received the receipt we were promised of the job.

    Movers were great, company itself not so much. The original crew didn't arrive after 3-4 hours, so an alternate one had to turn up. There was some miscommunication with the office about travelling in the van (they initially said I could, on the day they said I couldn't).

    The actual removal itself was really good, couldn't ask for better.

    Their customer service was very good; they replied to any enquiries promptly. The two men who did the removal were very good. I was assured that I had been given a fixed price that would not change, but at the end of the removal day I was suddenly, with no prior warning, charged more for a short period where keys were handed over and a contract signed. They waived the extra charge after I complained about it, but it's worth bearing this in mind and asking them about hidden charges in advance.

    It was booked for 3pm but didn't arrive until 5:40.
    They called at 3:30 to say they would be late and arriving within 60-90 mins but when they didn't show I had to call to ask, 30-40 mins later they arrived.

    Excellent customer service over e-mail with the quotes and advice. The two removers on the day worked very hard and were very polite. The price was very reasonable, I'd definitely use them again.
