Review:Broken fridge, damaged paintwork with one mover in a world if his own trying to carry a cast iron bed head up stairs on his own. Large furniture items were not wrapped as promised in the survey. Not enough time planned for packing and I felt the unload was rushed. Lots ended up in the garage that was supposed to be in the house.

Obviously we have paid some compensation for the fridge to you, although the damage you talk of was a split pipe and internal. Really hard to say that this wouldn't have happened to whoever moved the fridge. The other issues you had not previously mentioned so will of course look into. Dear Mike, Thank you for your feedback.Im sorry you feel this way. Obviously there is two sides to every story. You were delivered to a second floor flat that our crew say was just not big enough to accommodate everything. This in turn meant that when rooms are full to maximum we simply cannot put anymore items in there we have to find space in an a alternative room. The crew you had in particular are very competent removal men and receive excellent feedback on a daily basis.I am sorry if we didn't meet your expectations on this occasion and would still wish you all the best for the future.Kind RegardsDannyGloucester

Review:Mostly a very good service. Only quibbles were that we weren't asked if we wanted our beds put together as part of the quote and would have been charged more for this. Also the younger of the two movers picked up my TV (probably the most expensive item we had) with his bare hands and no packaging. I was told that this would be properly protected. He left smudges on the screen and could have easily broken it. However, in the end, no actual harm was done.

Review:Damaged furniture on moving day and then tried to argue that it was damaged before they moved it. They took 3 days to respond to the complaint and then just sent clauses from their insurance saying that we would be liable for A?100 just for the insurance company to look into the claim. We were also told that they provide special padded covers for TVs which turned out to be a piece of cardboard strapped to the side of the van. We also paid for them to dismantle and reassemble some furniture - they turned up with no tools and then damaged the furniture taking it apart and putting it back together. Our bed wasna??t even held together properly. We paid a bit more for the move as we thought they were a reputable company and we wanted to reduce the stress of moving. Our belongings, including TVs and Sofas were left unattended for long periods of time, which we only realised when we went to take something to our car. Would never recommend them, quite the opposite! What should have been an exciting day was ruined by having to send complaint emails and take pictures of our damaged furniture.

Dear Domoni,Thank you for the feedback. Obviously very disappointing that this has arisen. We responded to your email within 72 hours as per our complaints procedure. We have never had a response to our email other than this. We have investigated this with the crew Dean & Dave, who I have to say always get great feedback on a daily basis. The TV was card and wrapped in the traditional method which provides ample protection hence the tv has no damage. Obviously if you live in a 2nd floor flat it is nearly impossible to leave the vehicle unattended - however we strongly disagree the TV was, as this was the last to be loaded. We are sorry that you feel this way however we carry out on average over 35 house removals per week with 15 vehicles and 25 full time staff. Complaints are very rare and feel this is not overly justified. The damage you refer to of the bed was extremely minor tear to the hessian on the inside of the bed and not visible. Had your car not broken down on the motorway you would have been present at the delivery address as agreed and we may not be having this discussion. Yours Sincerely DannyGloucester
