Town and Country Removals

Who ever you decide to use steer clear of these, they start out ok but then it goes down hill. They damaged loads of our property in the move by being negligent ended up having to threaten legal action to get money back to cover repair and replacements even then didn't get the full value.We tried to help them with the timing by letting them load the day before as it was a long drive when we got to the new house they had gone and left wardrobes with clothes in on the drive even though we asked for a dismantle and re-assemble service.So save yourself the grief and use a reputable company not these guys Read more

Thanks to you both for getting everything organised for our move last Thursday.

The three vans worked well practically both ends.

I just wanted to say a special thanks to the guys who moved us.

Martin, Dean and Jacob were exceptional and you are fortunate to have them working for you.

Our move is just one of many they do day in day out I know, but they worked tirelessly in packing up the vans (3hrs+), travelling to South West (3hrs) and then unpacking (3hrs) once arrived.

I hope they get some additional reward, recognition or bonus for the work they do.

Their attitude and energy was amazing and not seen in many, when tired and working in a stressful environment.

I have worked with many blue chip companies, consulting on staff and customer excellence and your front end staff were a credit to T&CR.

Please pass on the above to the guys and also the owners of the company. Important that credit is given when it is due.

Once again thank you and feel free to use any of this on social media and let me know they all got back to base to rest over Easter.

Too many people turning up, not careful about furniture, damaging many.

I have moved many, many times with my first big move from the USA in the early 90a??s and with 11 moves since Town and Country are by far the best firm I have ever encountered.

Moving is a stressful time and quite frankly a hard graft. Town and Country really did make it easy so much so I may still have another move in me! Reasonably priced, an extremely efficient and helpful office and most importantly the removal men were happy, charming and knew exactly what they were doing. They genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. Even by the end of the day when they were unloading some extremely heavy pots and putting beds back together never once was there a moan or careless handling of our items. Their attitude was second to none. No moody movers in sight!

The guys on the day worked swiftly and with care. They made us feel as if they were there for us, they didna??t rush us in any way. Nothing was broken or scratched, all in all we can recommend them!

Very good, but changed teams between packing and move, which has caused some small problems. They were a little long winded.

We had a classic car to move as well as our house contents and the team of 4 TCR sent were enthusiasts who were very careful with it. It was the reason we chose the company but they were also excellent packers, very efficient and enjoyable to work with (although they left us exhausted).
