Overall they provided quotation and came on the day to move our house. The operatives on the ground were super nice helpful and professionals. I cant say the same about the back office who were sooooo unhelpful. The move supposed to take two days and on day 2 the office reduced the operatives to only two people something which delayed the move significantly. Last pieces and boxes (about 20) were not packed as if we were to do that they would have never finish on time so we had to move them as they are and as a consequence to that one of the desk broken. They wanted to get paid the other 50% although we had another load to take which is not as part of the deal only because it was end of the day and their offices closed. They have told their operatives not to unload the van unless I pay immediately something which put us on great stress on top of the great stress we were already. The girls at the office not really know costumer service and are very unhelpful on everything I have asked. In general the move happened thanks to the two operatives on the ground but overall the experience was very dull. Not sure if I recommend working with them. Read more

Good customer service organising the move. On the day unfortunately the movers were very late, which led to the move going on until evening when I was due to be leaving the property for the buyers by 5pm latest. This led to some challenges. I consider myself to be a quite demanding customer and I was totally impressed by the team at VP Smart Removals. I almost got worried because they were so 'on the case' and being so proactive (thank you Gabriella), that I thought they were probably so desperate to get clients! But their price was one of the most competitive and the service was excellent, apart from small glitches that I consider to be acceptable (such as not wrapping a pretty expensive painting but thankfully it wasn't damaged). Great removers. Two men worked hard, smiled a lot and were helpful and careful.

Very efficient, polite and professional. One of the guys got quite upset when asked to wear a mask by the storage company, but we were able to resolve the issue by him staying outside.

Great guys, good quality service, quoted the best price out of 6 companies. Were very polite when I had trouble to settle the remainder of the invoice due to issues with my bank.

Just a fantastic company to deal with. The person I spoke to in the office (Daisy) was excellent. The 2 removal men I had were brilliant turned up on time and were both polite but also very friendly. They were so good I asked for them again on a subsequent move and have also recommended them to my friend who will also be using them. Their quote was far cheaper than the other 4 companies and yet they still did a fantastic job. Not sure why youa??d choose any other company if Ia??m honest and I will certainly be recommending them to all my friends and family etc. I dona??t usually bother with reviews but felt I had to. I was a little worried going for a company which was one of the cheaper (Are they professional? Will they break anything? Will any furniture they take apart be put back together properly?) but VP were really good.

We had to change the moving date several due to issues along the chain and the office staff were understanding.

Day before the move, 3 guys came to pack up as much as they could. All 3 very nice. On the moving day they arrived on time and got straight to it. Just managed to get everything into the vans with no fuss. Didn't mind we had to be in the house, due to COVID.

At the new place, they put all the furniture back together, without a scratch, put boxes where they needed to be and had me double check the vans to ensure I was happy they were empty.

Overall respectiful of us and all our posessions. I'd certainly recommend using them. Read more

Fab company, but due to arrive at 1pm, arrived after 6pm

The movers were punctual and nice. They treated things carefully and they were working all the time. It took eight hours for them to finish the while moving, longer than I was thinking. But as they moved things piece by piece down and then up, the things are better protected and therea??s no damage. They asked me where to put all the things. Damaged property and refused to compensate, citing a A?40 limit despite advising of a A?50,000 limit.

Movers spoke little English, did not properly wrap furniture and took no action when property was damaged. Worth spending more for a professional outfit; this was amateur hour. Read more
