Kosta was very friendly on the phone. Two men turned up, one older guy was fine, he just barely spoke to me. The other was around my age perhaps and was downright rude. He barely looked at me when I spoke to him, shrugged his shoulders at me, seemed very angry about the amount of stuff needing to be moved (despite me putting it all in the email). I had a go at him but it didn't improve much. I felt very vulnerable being a lone young woman and felt certain that I wouldn't have been treated that way had I been a big strapping guy.They left all my boxes downstairs and I was too uncomfortable to ask them to carry them to my room upstairs.Wouldn't ever use again, deeply unpleasant experience. The customer service did well.However on the moving day, removal staff didnt read the item list throughly. So they did not expect the bed to be moved while its listed.Not very gentle and careful when moving. I really liked Izzy because of how Kosta handled the whole process. He was the only one that actually checked the flat online to see parking spaces and made sure my move would go the best way possible, even advising me to change the date for a better day. On the day everyone was very amicable, even with one of the movers not speaking English that well, and moved everything swiftly. No, I would not recommend. Kosta is charming and reassuring. When the move was postponed at the last minute due to a trip to A&E, he was kind and accommodating. That would make five stars in customer service, except for the lies told when his drivers did not show up at the new place as expected and charging me for his drivers' breaks. I was told that the men in the van "are driving slowly to protect your things", when neighbours reported watching the men in the van turn off the running lorry when I left and go across the road to fetch lunch. On move day we got from one address to another with no breakages; however, they had to be watched as one repeatedly tried to move a particularly valuable and heavy item by handles which, as previously briefed, would have resulted in catastrophic damage. On wrapping artwork, I had to insist that all of the frames were covered, not 3 of the 4 sides. The staff (paid by the hour) were incredibly slow, eeking out every single task (two people to wrap one small painting, moving one small box at a time etc), taking multiple cigarette breaks and then a lunch break- all on the clock!No mask wearing, no attempt to abide by C19 restrictions. The guys were really good at moving all my belongings and wrapping them carefully. Theya??ll give you options and tell you honestly what is needed or not.
I wasna??t sure about the pace of the move but there was so many stairs involved that it was bound to take longer, so keep that in mind if you have stairs, it will take longer to not damage furniture but theya??re only human; they will tire. The guys were great and helpful. Read more

The novel went really well. Kosta from the office arrange everything, the team were very helpful as I lived on a second floor without lift. The overall price was excellent. I booked two men with van for a short distance small move involving lots of stairs. The quote I received was accurate and set out all the charges clearly. Izzy Removals were the cheapest option for our moving day by far. They were easy to deal with and responsive, and the two men that came to help were strong and able.

Accuracya??s was wrong, before I booked with Izzy they sent two guy to my home to which they give me an accurate van size and a price.
Izzy confirmed that after talking to their drivers it will cost me A?700 and all belongings will fit into their van.
Which wasna??t the case I had to rent another extra van from Izzy again which cost me A?350.
Firstly they were not truthful and second their first two drivers didna??t help at all, I had to hired extra people to bring my things out from my flat.
It looks they were not paid well by izzy or they were just not up for the job.
Am talking to my solicitor to see what he can for me to seek redress. Read more

I found this removal company in last minutes because my moving date could not be fixed, but I wanted to hold the booking, because i wanted to book in Saturday busy time. This removal company has cancellation policy, of course, but corresponded flexible and it was a big help for me. Also the charge was reasonable with 2 men. I recommend this removal company. I had boxes that were too heavy for 2 fully grown men to lift, even though I have hired other companies before that lifted boxes even heavier. I have also lifted such boxes myself with another person helping me. Once they arrived and refused to lift them, they forced us to unpack the boxes and put things into smaller boxes. They then charged me an additional A?40 for those small boxes. The move then took an hour longer than expected because of the unpacking/repacking, so they charged me another A?60 for that time. So in total I spent an extra A?100 because 2 fully grown men were too lazy to lift boxes that weren't even that heavy. Read more

Super fast and tailored service, very nice guys with proper equipment

I reached out to Izzy removals for a quote on a pack and move of a one bedroom flat with a small amount of furniture to move. I received a quote based on 3 hours of labor and packaging material. I was very confused when the day before the move, I received a call from the gentleman who gave me the quote saying that the job would go a lot faster if we were to be packed when the movers arrived. While this is obviously true, it was a bit worrying considering I was very clear up front that I needed both pack and move service. On the day of, the movers themselves were very professional and did a great job, it just took twice as long as the initial quote, and with double the packing materials originally quoted. I understand that the original quote can't always be entirely accurate, but being this far off was very disappointing. My one star review is based on the quoting/pricing aspect, especially on packing where I felt very ripped off, rather than the labour, who I found helpful. Read more

They were great! Replied quickly to my quote request. On a day they have been on time. Super efficient- my studio flat stuff (around 18 boxes) was loaded in 30min! They never bubble wrapped anything, therefore one of the picture frames got broken. They do not bother with organizing or labels, they didn't place things where I asked them to.

This is a value service, it was quite a bit cheaper than other companies, and they didn't quote anything extra, so no problem on this front, but still packing job was very crude.

I guess they will be all right if you pack yourself, but for the packing service beware of the rather basic approach. Read more

very slow and not professional. spent 8 hours for a one bedroom flat move. 2 people crew but they had to do the same thing together all the time such as moving the van. why can't one person go move the truck the other one kept doing what he's supposed to do? why can't one person move the stuff while the other one assemble furniture? I have seen this done by other moving companies all the time. it was a rush in the end that they at first refused to unpack and remove all the boxes for me whereas it was agreed at the ver beginning. when i first reached out i wanted to have a fixed rate for entire day service but the contact person kept saying it should not take this long and charging by hour is more reasonable for me. I don't care this much on the rates as long as they complete the service professionally on what we agreed - pack, move, unpack, and remove the boxes. In the end, It was ME who had to take all the things out from the boxes so they can take the boxes away as we agreed. if I didn't do this, they would just leave and leave the work undone. overall they are very slow and took their sweet time for a simple 1-bed flat move.
