I used them to also put my belongings in to storage and deliver them back to me 6 weeks later. Everything was very smooth and the price was incredibly reasonable.

We opted at the 11th hour to have the full packing service which was the best decision we ever made. They sent one person out the day before who packed up our entire flat. No breakages from his packing. Overall the most stress-free move we could have hoped for. I would definitely recommend this company.

This was a 2 day move, on day one they arrived as expected to load up. On day 2 they delivered our belongings to our new home. The removal guys worked none stop, some of the wardrobes are very heavy and they got them up the stairs with no damage to decor or the wardrobes, they were very friendly and helpful. I also liaised with office staff on several occasions and found them to be very friendly and helpful.
Absolulety perfect and very cost effective. No other removal company could compete at this reasonable price. I did a lot of research and spoke to several removal companies.
Efficient, friendly with no request being too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

The customer service was exceptional and the guys who did the move were really friendly and worked non stop to get the move sorted as quickly and pain free as possible. I highly recommend MHC. These guys were brilliant. A competitive (but not the cheapest) quote, followed by courteous and efficient movers, supported by a patient customer service team. I extended my 'time in storage', asked them to find an item in an emergency within storage, and changed the dates of my final move 4 times, and they performed this politely and without complaint. And all my items turned up in one piece!
The team that helped with the Moving were very punctual and really lovely men. They packed everything up neatly and took care of everything like it was their own.
The move itself was speedy and the men went out of their way to help make sure everything was arranged neatly and accessible if i ever needed to take anything out of storage.

My move was small, but logistically complicated, from Scotland. I have to admit that the Customer Service of "Moving Home" (out of 6 other companies) was the best - Lewis Rance. He listened to my needs, and accommodated my requests, giving me the best price possible.
The move itself was smooth, timing agreed, the crew (Yakub Zadran and Bruno Alves Lopes) - cheerful, polite and helpful. Operations department is reachable. What else one possibly need?
They were really helpful and fast. They also gave us almost a month's free storage since we had to wait to complete on the place we're moving into.
It was a long time before I could confirm the moving date and there were various changes I needed to make to the original arrangements but all went smoothly. This company were truly amazing. From the packer spending all day and probably overtime packing all my items, to the three removal people who kindly made their way over 150 miles to take my stuff.

The move went quite well, considering that the guys had to park in the middle of the road because one of our neighbours cars was obstructing the lorry.
It poured with rain the whole time that it took to move - what a day! Anyway, the guys were great.
The next day, they arrived bright and early to move us into our bungalow and they even put together 2 beds and plumbed in the washing machine and dishwasher.
I would definitely recommend.

Having been brought up in a forces family, I'm well versed in moving house. The Moving House Company not only met, but exceeded our expectations for a recent move from London to Cheshire.
During the sales process we had the while process explained in detail and offered a very competitive price.
Moving day went without a hitch. A special shout out goes to Mohammed who diligently wrapped and packed all of our precious belongings. When the HGV came to load, the whole worked quickly, but carefully to take all of our boxes and furniture down to stories and into the lorry. All of this without a hitch or scuffing the walls.
On arrival on Cheshire, the lorry was unloaded into our new house again quickly but with great care and in a very upbeat and friendly manner.
All round, a great service. My only criticism would be that it would have been nice to know the schedule for the day more than 24hrs before as this made final arrangements a little ad hoc on our end.

They took care of all my items. When at the storage company they put all the items in my storage unit as quickly and as efficiently as before. They must be Tetris master's with the way they packed the unit making best use of the space.
Quite simply, this was the best removal experience I have had so far. Would recommend to others.

Had some issues with the customer service often not coming back to me for days at a time, until I chased them up, however the movers themselves were absolutely fantastic. We were extremely impressed with their care and service and they did a amazing job.
Quite pricey but really efficient and the staff on the day were super polite and really helpful, going above and beyond. I would have given full marks if I had been able to have them arrive at my requested morning/afternoon slots but apparently logistics prevented that.
They were super on time and very quick lloading and unloading everything!

Good service and value for money overall. I had to keep nudging them for confirmation of booking and logistics details on the day but very helpful and professional once you get to speak to them. The removal men themselves were great although I think 3 men rather than 2 would have been quicker (not the men's fault!) as it took 4-5 hours to load my 1 bed flat onto the van.
I was surprised, on the day set for moving out (when my stuff was to be put into storage) that there were only two operatives to pack up and load all my stuff, clearly not enough to ensure it would all be done by the time my buyer was expecting me to be out. After a call this was rectified, with three further people turning up by midday and everything was completed by 5, still quite a bit later than I had expected. Ultimately this didn't inconvenience me but I did get some hassle from the buyer.
Very friendly and helpful guys turned up on time and left later than anticipated - on the whole very happy with out move.

I recommend Moving Home company as overall it was a good experience. The office assistants were professional during my dealings with them. As agreed, boxes were dropped off as expected a few days before the move and on moving day they arrived within the timeframe I'd been given.
Mo and his assistant were professional and very helpful during the move. The only thing that I didn't appreciate was that Mo alluded to the fact that as I had a few more boxes than planned this would cause extra charges "for weight". In order to compensate for this I tipped heavily but have since found out that this company work on the basis of hours taken for the move, nothing to do with weight. At this time Mo mentioned that I shouldn't tip in front of his workmate...
The move took longer than planned and they brought me to a cashpoint rather than allow me to settle it with the office on the next working day. I didn't appreciate this during such a stressful time.
Book this company for a professional job but I recommend that payments should only go through the office.
Very good guys, worked very hard. Packed everything neatly and well but could have taken a bit more care protecting carpets on delivery and they did not put furniture back together. To be fair they offered but it was so late, it made no sense.
Agreeing the moving day was straightforward enough, but it was quite difficult to get a response on the more detailed arrangements (for example when the boxes were being dropped off, what time the removals were arriving etc). This made it difficult to arrange my check out with my landlord.
On the day, the men were polite and worked quickly to get the removal done, with only a few minor scratches to my desk.

Nice guys but we thought a little bit less careful than other (more expensive movers). No frills but got the job done and nothing damaged.
Our contract said that all items would arrive within 2 weeks. 3 and a half weeks have passed and we are yet to receive our possessions. This has made it extremely difficult to get organised in our new home and complete everything we need to with our move.
Apart from the fact they arrived late, everything went fine. No broken items, no problems and the guys were good and fast.
Two great guys willing to help during my move, but unfortunately a few items got damaged and dirty; the bed's upholstery was not correctly protected and became very dirty, which is rather annoying.
The team we had on moving day worked really hard and were cheerful and helpful throughout and we were v happy with them. However don’t believe the sales pitch about the care they will take with packing. Some of our packing was excellent but some of it was poor (done by a different team member) so some nice glasses and a bedside lamp were broken that could have been avoided; overall though things arrived OK. Stand over them when they are packing things you really care about or take yourself in the car - some garden plants got lost in transit and I wish I’d taken them myself. Overall, customer service and value for money good.
It was often difficult to speak to the person who knew what was happening. it was also difficult to get confirmation of the time of the drivers arrival on the day. It was confirmed at 11.30 and then I was told they were coming at 8.30 but in fact they came at 7.30. However when they came they were very good and worked very hard to complete the job as soon as possible.

On the day before the move, they were late to confirm when they would come the next day, which is stressful. I had to call 4 times to get a time of arrival.
On the day, the movers took 13 hours to move one Luton van of stuff over 2 miles. It seemed like forever. They were not super careful. They broke nothing but they scratched a few things.
Also the "boss" keeps joking about a potential tip, which is really annoying. If only he worked hard, but nope, he spent a lot of time chatting with me and pretending to move boxes in the van.
Won't use again.
On the day the movers were fantastic. In saying that after sales service was terrible. I am still waiting to hear back aboutbox pick up, which they have a deposit for. Some clithesboxes were in bad condition
The two removal men were fabulous. So friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for more. Sam Douglass in the customer service team was also very helpful and professional. But I also had to deal with one of his colleagues whose service was absolutely appalling. I called to enquire about an alternative slot. (There was not a suitable one). She changed my appointment against my specific request that I keep my originally scheduled appointment and then proceeded to blame me, then her colleagues and then their systems for the change. She was unable or unwilling to try and rectify her mistake so I lost my moving slot the day before my scheduled move. I asked to be called back by her manager (as he was not in the office at the time) and no one ever called. I found the whole experience really frustrating and I did not appreciate being called a liar.
Huge delays and I wasn’t able to pick the time when I want to moce. However the driver was really nice and we managed to do the whole move in 2h so it was good rate - they charge min.2h and each new extra, which can be stressful if there is traffic. Mixed feelings really.
The people that came in were great and moved everything they could on time. The problem was one sofa that they couldn’t dismantle as the office didn’t authorise. Expected a call from the company to re arrange the move but never heard back
They quoted the job to be a certain price which I thought was fair and achieveable in the time they alloted but on the day the movers took twice aslong and even asked me to slow down and in the end it cost me double the amount. I would very much prefered I had not been quoted a false amount and instead a realisitc. Will not recomend or use again because of this.
Arrived later than the two hour arrival window that they had initially provided. Did not supply the level of staff that was required for the job. Items were badly packed and therefere damaged. Company was triple booked according to the staff that did turn up for the job. Did not have large enough vehicles for the job. Result was that they unloaded the last box off the van at 2130hrs on a house to house move with a distance between the two locations of 2 kilometres. I would not recommend this company.
The pre-move experience was very good. The moving days were a joke. The staff were friendly but there weren't nearly enough of them for the size of the move (3 people most of the day, then one more at 5:30 and another two at 6:30) and the lorry they initially sent was full by lunchtime. Packers finished what they could around 9:30pm and had to finish loading the final load two days later. It was a late booking, but the company asked us to change days to fit with their availability, which we did, so it should never have been like this. The packers also just shoved things in a box by the end and so we've had breakages as a result of heavy things being put in with breakables without protection.
The company were very disorganised. I requested a 9am move and the office told me that they would be with me between 8 and 10am. The moving guys eventually turned up at 11:30am! The guys who did the moving were great, but were let down by terrible customer service from their head office.
The day before they switched from morning to afternoon. On the day after waiting the whole 3 hour time slot, I called them and they asked me if they could change it to the next day. I said I can't as I have a baby and I've already moved his essentials and everything is packed. Said they would call back in 10 minutes, they never called back, I had to call every time. They stringed me along until I called back and the office was closed. I had given up and was driving to pick up my family and was going to book a night in a hotel when I received a text saying the van was an hour away. The movings arrived around 7:30pm, 2 guys who had been dragged to do the job, 1 was on his day off. They raced to pack the van and also too unpack. They had to borrow tools of a neighbour even though I state that they would need tools. they broke a shoe cupboard and damaged a TV stand. I also had to pay the the extra time directly into one of the movers bank accounts because the office was closed which felt very wrong.
Broken furniture and terrible customer service.
Very pushy sales team who harassed me until I booked, then once I had booked were extremely unresponsive with regard to any questions about the logistics of the day. I ended up desperately phoning 6pm the night before the move to try and find out what time the removal men were coming and to have any information.
The removal men were very good on the day, moved quickly and were very courteous and personable. However, I had a glass dressing table which I had pointed out to each of the removal men as being fragile, and had insured on the insurance policy beforehand for £1000, which ended up being smashed.
I called the agency the next day and filled out all their forms and it has now been three weeks and I still have had no response.
I chased them three times and eventually got a curt reply saying it was in hand and I just had to wait.
I would not recommend this company, which is a shame as the removal men on the day were very good.
Three men booked, one turned up! Had to chase several times, no one from the company would call me back. They clearly had not booked the correct number of men so we're scrabbling around to find more men. Customer service appealing. The one guy who turned up was brilliant, eventually two more appeared after all my calls. This delayed my leaving the property. To date have not had any communication from the company to offer any excuses/explanation. Made a stressful day harder. Could not fault the workers just the management!!
I gave an initial assessment of what I had to move over the phone but then realised I had more stuff than I thought. Moving Home Co sent a surveyor around to make an assessment and he prepared a revised quote. When my removers turned up, they didn't have the details of the revised quote so were totally unprepared. I ended up paying double because I was on an hourly rate. One of the movers worked hard, the other was really slow and lazy. I would not use again or recommend them.
My move totaled in 6 hours and I did a bank transfer for £252 that evening as I was not briefed that I would be expected to have cash on my person for extra time.
As I had been dealing directly with the company and providing my card details for a secure payment over the phone I was shocked by the extremely rude manner the 'manager' of you company spoke to me over the phone. He shouted at me for about 30 minutes when I expressed that I wasn't told to have cash. I expected to deal with the payments in the same way that I had dealt with them with your company before, getting an invoice and paying in a secure manner.
Your 'manager' was talking to me on his personal phone shouting at me to give my credit card details and made the situation very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Only after all this yelling did he say I could make a bank transfer which I promptly did as this is a safe exchange.
I think his telephone manner is DISGUSTING and I know that this man should NEVER be allowed to speak to customers EVER if you would like repeat business.
Sorry but wouldn’t recommend. Very poor communication throughout and lack of proper organisation and resourcing on the packing and moving days made for a rather unpleasant experience overall.
There was no point of contact and no one seemed to be in charge of the move which led to a disorganised and stressful event for us and for their staff.
Moving vehicles turned up a day before expected and packers and loaders seemed to turn up as and when (not their fault, blame operations). No one could tell us what was going on or when things were supposed to be happening. We were due to leave the house and move the evening of the second day but we were forced to cancel our hotel and change our moving plans as the packing and loading was behind schedule. This could have been avoided with better communication, organisation and resourcing.
Their staff worked hard but were under pressure and therefore were stesssed which led to them not being as careful with our possessions as we would have hoped and expected.
We paid a few thousand pounds for the move & ultimately didn’t get the service that we paid for. I can’t recommend to them enough the need to communicate & resource properly.
Very poor disorganised customer service. The company failed to book a parking permit which we fortunately were able to organise ourselves the day before. After having a full survey on our contents to be moved the van they used couldn’t fit all our contents in and we didn’t even have an acknowledgement or apology from the company. Very over priced service for poor quality. The company added stress to an already stressful event.
Incredibly poor customer service. I was told I would be called the day before packing was to begin with specifics about what to expect. No one called until late evening the day before the packing.
Their advice about what to expect (and when) was poor quality.
On the pack day, the packer arrived late (2 hours later than expected). No inventory of items moved was taken. No inventory of what went into what box. I was (politely) asked to leave them alone and let them get on with it.
On the move day, there were two moving vans.
The first. No one contacted me to let me know this. No one at customer services was available to take or respond to a call. I eventually managed to get in touch with the driver of the van who asked his manager to call me. I didn't get an update on where my possessions were and what was being done until late in the evening. The van would deliver my stuff the next day.
When it arrived, the packers unpacked the van and prepared to leave despite my having ordered an unpack service.
The second van was also delayed (no clear reason given), and did not turn up until c 530pm on move day (having left our old home at midday and it being a one hour drive away).
This was not a good experience. I had just completed a move from Moscow to London that had gone perfectly smoothly, so the disaster of this second move from London to Scotland came as a shock.
Prior to the move, I provided detailed information on what had to be transported, including pictures of a storage unit that was to be emptied. They estimated the volume of the storage unit incorrectly but on the day it all fit in the vehicle they had sent (just). The vehicle was, however, impounded in Carlisle for being overweight. It was only at this point that the incorrect volume became an issue and I was asked to pay an extra £500 to help fix it. I did, and the delivery was promised for 19/12 (originally planned for 15/12). The replacement vehicle then apparently "broke down" and I was told my delivery would only happen in the New Year. I was not taken in by this, but there was nothing I could do. On 02/01 I asked when the delivery would come, saying that I could meet it any day, except the 7th. I was advised it would the 6th, so no problem. I then got another email saying that, after all, it would be the 7th, the ONE day I had specifically said did not work.
Not a word of apology.
I booked my removal from London to Spain. They guaranteed delivery within 10 days, which was the only reason I agreed to the delivery (as it's already a bit on the expensive side at £690 for a very small move). The delivery took three weeks. I lost a client over this as I needed my computer to work. After numerous emails and phone calls they've ignored my complaints and have refused to reimburse me for the hassle and stress caused. I would recommend everyone avoid this company at all costs, there are many other more professional options out there.
They broke many things diring the move. Their team used teeth to cut parcel tapes. Very slow and awful service. We are going to sue the for the damage. Stay away. Complete waste of money and time.
I booked their service one month in advance pre-paying to ensure everything would run smoothly on my moving day. However on the day of the move they changed schedule various times, and did not keep me informed. So, I opted for calling an emergency removal operator. They refunded the money but that does not compensate for the stress and inconvenience they have caused me.

Based on this, I would not recommend or use this company again.
This was the worst experience ever, I would never ever use this company again even if they were the last removal company on earth. The extra insurance they offer is only good for BRAND new products as their £100 excess they charge per claim is ludecrious. They depreciate your valuables heavily so you get sweet f all back. The day before the move I had a different guy taking my furniture apart. When I say taking apart this is a very loose term as it was not taken completely apart. Then on moving day I had a different guy with another guy. When it came to finally puting things together they had lost parts unbeknownst to me and they just used tape to stick the base unit of my bed together! Sorting out their stupidity took over 2 months of back and forth emails. Trying to speak to "somebody of importance" was virtually impossible as they were either in a meeting or busy or not in. Never ever use this company you will regret every pound you give to them.

Initial pleased that they could move me on the same day I had to book. Unfortunately due to the driver losing vehicle key whilst loading the van my belongings had to go into over night storage as they could not make the deadline for the lock up plus incurred additional charges for delivery the next day.
Choosing this company was the worst mistake I've made,TOTAL DISASTER, it was booked for 30th Nov at 8am due to no electric in basement property and they booked it as first job of the day for that reason. They arrived at 4.50pm and the property was PITCH BLACK the 2 men did the move using the torch on the phone! a number of the belongings were left behind in the flat. I rang the company about this and they wanted to book it as another moving day to collect items they missed but would charge as another move even though they accepted full responsibility for coming at this time but it was too late as the key was handed back. I cannot believe this happened and now these items need replacing so it worked out to be a very expensive mistake choosing this company!!!
Two day move took three. Ended up in breach of contract for the property we had sold and sleeping on the floor with two young children in our new house. Terrible!
Absolutely terrible company, avoid at all costs. I paid £800 for a 2 bed flat move to across the road, 2 mins walk/drive. Including dismantling and reassembling furniture. I thought these were a reputable company. But the way they have operated their business by taking 2 movers off of my job (which I paid for substantially) to make more money on another job - is utterly disgraceful.
They took 2 full days to complete my move!!! Unbelievable.
Beware of this cowboy company and use at your own peril. I tried contacting their management to complain but was asked to send an email to a customer service email address. I looked online and there is no details.
This is a sub standard company. You will be better off booking a man with a van. I cannot express how frustrated and angry I am with how this company conducts their business by ripping off people to maximise their daily jobs intake. To add more stress, they damaged my 3 door mirror panelled wardrobe - I am now trying to go through their Insurance to seek replacement.
The worst move ever! I used this company for a stress free move - far from. Company changed time - 9pm evening before hand. Was late on the day despite me saying please no later. Van broke down (okay it happens...) NO communication however. I missed a meeting due to non communication and messed up a work project. Items broken when finally arrived - was not even offered £10 as an apology. Now going via ombudsman for assistance.Awful! Awful! Awful!
