I chose Bishopsgate for the conveyancing for purchase of a shared freehold flat on the basis of the competitive price and the good reviews. Jodie was the conveyancer and provided excellent service which lived up to the reviews. Jodie responding to all my emails within a few hours, once she even answered a question on a Sunday afternoon. The whole process went very smoothly apart from a slight delay on exchange day due to one of the other solicitors in the chain not responding in time. Overall I can definitely recommend Bishopsgate for conveyancing.

As a first time buyer I could not be happier with Bishopsgate law. Although I received cheaper quotes the quality of the work was second to none and took all the stress away from buying the property. Bishopsgate law have a fantastic team of people. The ID check took 10 mins online where as other forms send you to the post office with additional fees to pay. The accounts team where quick to confirm any payment. Finally you are given a team of two to look after the legal process. I was warned that the legal work can be the most stressful part of a house move. With Bishopsgate law it was the easiest part. I will have no hesitation in using them again.

Bishopsgate Law have been fantastic from the beginning to the end. They charged a competitive price for what turned out to be a lengthy purchase process due to having to deal with a complication such as Japanese Knotweed and repeated queries from the mortgage lender. Despite this hurdle we were able to complete within 4 months (most of the delays coming from the seller's solicitor's poor and slow responses). Bhavini handled my transaction excellently, and I was always able to get hold of her on the phone if needed. Bear in mind this was all proceeding during lockdown but I still felt I got a professional service. Shout out to Mahgol for getting my completion over the line on the last day due to a complication from the lender!
They were the cheapest quote which gave me some concerns but they were excellent and managed to complete our sale and purchase in 8 weeks despite the best efforts of my buyers solicitor to drag the process out longer. When you’re purchasing a house, you will need to instruct Bishopsgate Law to begin helping you. As your conveyancer, we will gather the legal documents from the seller’s conveyancer and begin to enquire property and local authority searches to gather vital information on the house.
More importantly, we will exchange contracts and then work out a day for completion. On completion day, you will become the legal owner of the property and we will register you the new owner with the Land Registry.
