I was quite disappointed in the service. I asked for a phone call to walk me through the report and the surveyor said they were busy with meetings and should email questions.I emailed them asking about underfloor heating that was mentioned in the report and it turned out that was added by mistake which made me question the entire report.I specifically asked beforehand if they could share details on the services such as heating, gas and water and it turned out they only mentioned in the report that I need to hire an expert for each to get details on those, so not sure what value the surveyor added. These services were also highlighted as 3 (high risk) which I dont understand why if I need to ask experts for a full report. Read more

When I booked the survey the person in the office was helpful and informative. Everything proceeded a timely manner and was easy to arrange. Paul Johnson carried out the survey and was excellent at keeping me informed. On the day of the survey he called me to give an overview of what he had found and when I would receive the full report. An incredibly easy and straightforward process. After being matched with two possible options on the website, we chose McCallums and we were not disappointed. Very detailed and thorough report for the money, I was more than happy with that. The only minor negative feedback I could give is it stated on their booking documents they call you on the day to discuss the survey. However that didn't happen until I chased it up hours later. I think if I hadn't called to chase it up I doubt a call would have taken place. Read more

Awful customer service, appointment was delayed twice, once after payment was taken without asking the client if its ok. I was assured that Ill receive the report as if it was done on the original booking but this did not happen. No communication with regards to that.
