    The whole booking process was very straightforward and stress-free and communication was first rate. My surveyor Tessa not only prepared a very thorough report for me, but also called me after she'd completed the survey to talk me through the findings and made herself available to me for any further questions I might have. As a result of the survey I was able to identify potential roofing problems and negotiate for a reduced asking price on the property. I am so impressed with Watson's and Tessa's in particular, professionalism and attention to detail and have no hesitation in recommending them wholeheartedly. Excellent service. Thank you.

    I asked surveyor to investigate 3 particular issues, none of which were answered. Therefore I needed to chase to get the answers I needed. I asked advice about cause of one particular problem Id noticed in the property and expressed my guess on its cause. He said it was unlikely to be that cause and just general wear and tear. I then spoke directly to the vendor who confirmed it was the cause I had thought it was (that is leak into the ceiling causing big crack that they had tried to repair but kept cracking through)

    Quick to contact me after I made an enquiry. Contacted the estate agent immediately and an appointment was made for a few days later. Report was received the day after inspection. We had used a different company for another property but they were much more expensive and took days to send our report . Would definitely recommend Watsons as value for money and very efficient.

    The surveyor had done a thorough inspection, was professional and concise in his assessment. I was quoted a reasonable rate for a level 2 survey with valuation and was even advised that the level 3 I ordered was unnecessary. Appreciated the expertise.

    This company are brilliant.Really competitive quote and a very thorough and complete report on an older property for us. They were happy to explain and discuss anything within the report, but it was very comprehensive we actually didn't need to. They were efficient with getting back to me, and arranged everything with the vendors and estate agents for booking in the survey.We would highly recommend them

    Watsons quote suggest that you watch and read RICS guides, but don't be fooled into thinking that the second choice of a Home Buyers Survey, is the same as a RICS type 2 survey, it's not.

    Apologies, I have only seen this review has been unanswered. The RICS Level 2 survey is an updated version of the RICS Home Buyer Report. Both reports follow an RICS template, as an industry we have to follow their strict guidelines in order to comply with their regulations. I can only apologise if you had a survey with us whilst we were in the process of switching over to the new RICS Level 2 Survey and this didn't quite live up to expectations. Many thanks,

    I used Watsons for a level 2 survey plus valuation on the property I was purchasing. They were quick at attending the property and the next day I received a copy of the comprehensive survey and valuation - a document of over 50 pages - by email!!A hard copy of such an important document is essential and there can be no excuse for not providing one.I cannot therefore recommend this surveying company unless you have access to a good copying machine

    A very friendly and helpful service was received. The surveyor took time to explain any issues with the property and even went back to view one of the rooms at a later date as it was locked on the initial survey visit. No extra charge was levied.     Online sign up process was overly complicated. It involved about 20 or so emails from the company, most badly worded & misleading. Too many stages to sign up, each stage resulting in several emails before you can proceed to the next stage.
