I had an awful experience with Ackroyd Legal. Unprofessional and incompetent solicitor that lost me the sale of my property. Do not use these cowboys

Absolutely terrible solicitors. We still havent completed and it has been 4 months for a cash purchase. Ackroyd legal never reply to my emails and ordered the searches for the wrong address! They are not replying to the seller's solicitor, who are now threatening to pull out due to Ackoyd Legal's radio silence. I would not recommend this firm at all. Further I try to contact them on the phone and the person I am dealing with there (Amaan Ahmed) always is in a meeting - they say he will call back but never does. I had to chase him to send me all the forms (TA6, 7, LPE 1 etc) and he has only just sent them all over to me despite several reminders and him receiving them in September and October. Further, the enquiries raised by Ackroyd Legal are terrible and they have not paid any attention to the responses, I am having to pay extra to take separate legal advise on these to ensure that I have done my due diligence on the property I am purchasing - I cannot trust Ackroyd Legal to do a good job of this. I have also been lied to by Amaan Ahmed and Ackroyd legal on several occasions, sayign they are waiting for correspondence from the sellers solicitor, when in fact it is the opposite

I had a horrible experience with my conveyancer Gozde tanis was very unprofessional, I could never reach her, and she made the whole process a horrible experience for me. She send me the wrong information countless of times and she is unapologetic about her attitude. I would never use this company again!
