RICS Homebuyer Report
Our RICS Homebuyer report will provide an objective and professional review of the condition of the home and its grounds. It will highlight any obvious concerns or any future work that will be required. This type of property survey is recommended for modern homes or properties in seemingly reasonable condition. The report will be presented using a simple ‘traffic light’ system that is also seen in a Condition Report.
Our RICS Homebuyer Report will also provide you with professional advice on any defects that have been found in the property. With the level of detail provided, you will then be able to judge the value of the property purchase in line with the cost of any future maintenance or repair work. The surveyor who assessed your property will also be the one to write the report, ensuring an informed and clear first-hand account.
RICS Building Survey
Our RICS Building Survey will feature all of the items covered in the Homebuyer Report but in much more detail. This type of property survey provides the most thorough assessment available and is designed for older and more complex properties. Where safe to do so, loft spaces will be entered and assessed and drain covers will be lifted and checked for damage. Rest assured, both the property and the grounds will be inspected.
If you’re considering making significant alterations or buying a property that has fallen into disrepair then our Building Survey will be the preferred option, providing an in-depth analysis of the property’s condition. It will also provide advice on any defects detected or future maintenance and repair work that may be required. This information may be vital when it comes to negotiating the property price.
