Review:AVOID this company, may be cheap but pay a bit extra for an official remover!I'm currently having to speak to the Trading Standards Office about Core Removals, who tore my vinyl flooring in several places when moving my sofa and washer in. My rental agency are charging me 1300 for a flooring replacement, and Core Removals are refusing to claim on their insurance (if they even have insurance). They are denying liability for the damages even though Joe told me he spoke to their insurer who said they cannot claim unless it's on the same day. Why would you bother to contact your insurer if it wasn't done by you? I used them twice as I had to move twice in a month - the first time they moved my stuff they said it's an extra cost to assemble furniture, even though I'd asked them prior to disassemble and assemble my bed.The second time, they said they wanted to leave loads of my heavy boxes downstairs for me to take up myself (I'm a woman who lives alone), they acted like I hadn't arranged for them to hang a mirror and left without doing it. Not to mention the flooring damage which has left me out of pocket by 1300. Will be putting in a damages claim (I even paid them extra!)
