Arrived on time. Really friendly/helpful team and took great care of our items. Would certainly recommend

Do not use this company unless price is your no. 1 priority and you are willing to risk damage to item(s). Initially very friendly when dealing over the phone and estimation, flexible with dates and agreed a low price. 2 man team arrived to pack and move. They were efficient, but we noticed damage to a bedside table. This was photographed at the time and we were told that this would be reported.
I chased Nick up on the damage and also removal of the boxes, he offered some compensation (not the full price) but stated that they accepted no liability. I offered to go via the insurance route then received some incredible emails which in summary said:

They did not cause the damage (they photographed it at the time) but had no proof to back this up.

Insurance would take 6 - 12 months to pay out. But they refuse to give me the insurance details.

Would charge me for taking the boxes to the tip but then stated that they would collect as a favour.

Said I had shown then threatening and aggressive behaviour which is odd seeing that I tipped the removal team and spoke to Nick on the phone without incident. Read more

The only thing that lets House to Home Removals down is the fact that nearly every time you ring their Maidstone phone number it is not answered but to be fair they do ring you back most of the time. I would also have appreciated something written to me saying we will arrive on such and such a day at a certain time to move you out. Verbal communications are fine up to a point but if you a worrier like me you will worry if they are going to turn up! Read more

The company we decided to use was very professional and did everything very thoroughly. A representative of the company visited the home we were moving from and went through with ourselves everything that we wanted to take with us to the new property. The quote was well within our budget and we were left with a good feeling at the end of the quotation. The removal men turned up on our date of move and were very polite and professional. They packed the trucks used very quickly and carefully and followed our directions. After a long journey to our new address the removal men unpacked our things into the relavent rooms as directed and remained professional at all times. Very good job done by the removal men. The 4 men that moved us were so polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and it was raining hard on the day we moved.
We constantly had a laugh with them and they felt like friends.
