JB Home Surveys – I am an Independent Surveyor based in Aylesbury and cover Beds, Bucks and Herts.

I have over 35 years of professional experience in the surveying industry and offer a variety of services. These include the RICS Level 2 and 3 survey reports as well as RICS Property Valuations.

From start to finish the Assessor had great communication from sending forms, replying to emails and booking a day for the RICS assessment for my help to buy. Was very friendly, was very informative of the process and his experience of doing his role and whilst completing his visit explained everything he was doing and why.The report was also completed in a very timely manner which allowed me to progress with my help to buy redemption.Would highly recommend.

As a first time buyer it can be a bit daunting when trying to find the right people to complete the house buying process, but fortunately after a little digging and research I came across JB Home Surveys. John is a local Surveyor to me and has been a pleasure to deal with! He acted swiftly in organising access to the property through our Estate Agents and presented us with a well organised and informative report that has helped us to know more about our future home. JB home surveys were quick to respond to my first enquiry and continued to surprise and delight throughout our survey process. The pricing was also better than many other quotes I received. RICS Home Survey Level 2

The RICS Home Survey Level 2 (also known as a Homebuyer Report) is the best survey to have on a standard property. It provides an internal and external check of the property and includes a loft inspection.

My report will provide you with a better understanding of the condition of the property you’re looking to purchase. It will give you peace of mind and will contain my opinion of the property and recommendations, together with photographs of any issues raised.

RICS Home Survey Level 3

If you’re purchasing an older property, the RICS Home Survey Level 3 (also known as the Building Survey) is the best option to consider. It is based on the RICS Level 2 as stated above, but provides more detailed information on the condition of the property, together with likely repair costs and recommendations.

Valuation

I am a RICS Registered Valuer and undertake ‘Red Book’ valuations for ‘Help to Buy’, ‘Shared Ownership’, Grant of Probate/IHT and Matrimonial, as well an independent property valuation for private purchasers.
