RICS Home Survey Level 2
The RICS Home Survey Level 2, also known as a HomeBuyers Report, is a mid-range report that is suitable for most property types, especially those with standard construction and newer buildings. Your surveyor will inspect the interior and exterior of the property and highlight any defects found. The report is presented in an easy-to-read format with colour-coded condition ratings for each element of the property.
All aspects of the property are described, condition rated, and come with a brief description of any defects or potential issues that may negatively impact the property and its value in future.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
The RICS Home Survey Level 3, also known as a Building Survey, is the most comprehensive survey suitable for all property types, especially older properties and buildings with non-standard construction. This report has a similar layout to the Level 2 report but is tailored for older and more complex properties. This means we offer additional advice regarding any defects and future repairs.
Your surveyor will thoroughly inspect the interior and exterior of the property, including areas that are hard to access. If any defects are found, we will offer reparation advice and an estimated cost to fix the issue.
