RICS Home Survey Level 2
The RICS Home Survey Level 2, previously known as the homebuyers survey, is an in-depth survey that identifies any apparent issues at the time of the inspection. This type of survey is designed to cover the majority of traditional and modern housing in Britain. The report is generally suitable for houses built from c.1900 to the present day. When our chartered surveyors carry out our level 2 surveys, they will undertake an in-depth internal and external examination of the property.
Our surveyors are typically on-site for around 2 hours and up to 5 or 6 for more complicated buildings. We will then present our findings in an easy-to-read report, highlighting any potential damage and areas of concern. This will provide you with documented evidence to obtain further quotations for remediation or re-negotiate the purchase price.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
Previously referred to as a building or full-structural survey, the RICS Home Survey Level 3 is the most comprehensive and detailed survey type available. Our expert surveyors will provide an in-depth examination of the home in question, completing a full report stating the condition of the building as well as highlighting where the structural integrity of the property may be in question or where significant issues are likely to be found. This report is designed for dilapidated, very old or very large housing.
