The RICS Home Survey Level 2, also known as a HomeBuyers Report, is the most popular type of survey. Best suited for newer properties and homes with standard construction, this is an intermediate survey that includes an inspection of the interior and exterior of the property. Your surveyor will then write up a report that clearly highlights any defects that can affect the value of the property. We use a traffic light rating system, so these issues are easily identifiable.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
The RICS Home Survey Level 3, known as the Building Survey, is the most comprehensive survey type. Best for older properties and homes with non-standard construction, this survey is suitable for all property types. Your surveyor will thoroughly inspect the interior and exterior of the property, including areas that are difficult to access. They will then write up a detailed report that uses the same traffic light rating system, making it easy to read. If any defects are found, your surveyor will include reparation advice and estimated costs for repair.
Valuation Report
A Valuation Report is not a structural survey. Your surveyor will inspect the overall condition and location of the property to determine an accurate market valuation of the property. We offer Valuation Reports for various scenarios including matrimonial, probate, shared ownership, and help to buy.
