When the report was received, it was very detailed and easy to follow. Review:It got delayed by few days. Most of the routine stuffs where mentioned stating "use experts to get it verified.." Customer service was good, they always received my call and answered the queries. At the end I think was this survey worth? It just gave peace of mind nothing substantial came out of it.

We always try to give as much information about the defects mentioned in our reports as possible. However, if we cannot confirm the cause of a defect in the concealed areas or when it is a specialist area, such as electricity, gas, water, etc. we recommend contacting a suitably qualified person or a reputable contractor, which is required by RICS. Homebuyers Report
If you’re purchasing a property that was built less than 80 years ago or that is in relatively good condition, then you’ll require our RICS homebuyer report. This type of survey will reveal any obvious damage or defects that could affect the property’s value. You can also choose whether or not to include a valuation and an insurance reinstatement value should you require those services.
One of our experienced chartered surveyors will carry out the survey and assess the condition of the property in question. Some issues they could uncover include signs of subsidence, damp or dry rot - factors that will likely have an impact on the building’s final value.
Building Survey
Although slightly more expensive, our RICS building survey is the most comprehensive service available and is a worthwhile investment. The report will include a full inspection of the property’s condition and structure, with any issues uncovered being clearly stated. This survey type is most suited to older properties that have had major work done or homes you are planning to heavily renovate. The results of the survey will help you make a more informed decision when purchasing the property or when planning for repairs.
