RICS Home Survey Level 2
Previously called a Homebuyer Report, this is suited for a conventional house, flat or bungalow. It suits homes that are in reasonable condition and built from common building materials.
This survey focuses on assessing the general condition of the property. This includes the building, its services and the grounds. We will look at the condition of different elements and highlight any problem areas or issues.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
The level 3 survey is suitable for large, older or run-down properties. It will also suit homes that are unusual or altered or if you are planning to undertake large amounts of work on it.
Previously known as a Building Survey, your report will give detailed information about the structure and fabric of the home. This includes a detailed inspection of the home and grounds, highlighting any issues or developing problems It is a more thorough report than level 2 and will outline any required remedial work.
