Festival Surveys and Valuations Ltd’s Level 2 Survey will better be suited for you if your house is modern, in good condition and has never undergone reconstruction work. Many people will underestimate the importance of a homebuyer report and regret not having one when they come across major damage they didn’t notice at first. This report will save you money in the long run.
We will look for any signs of damp, infestations and rot, searching for any areas that will need major repairing. We will present our findings in a jargon-free report using the traffic light system. A green result will mean there’s nothing to worry about and a red result will mean we found areas that need major repairs. One of our RICS verified chartered surveyors will offer their expert opinion of the condition and repair of your property.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
Our RICS Level 3 survey is designed for houses that are older, have or plan to have major work done and were constructed with unique or unusual materials. This survey is even more in-depth than our Level 2 Survey. This survey will look at the construction and structure of your property, searching for any major hidden damage and defects.
Our findings will be set out in an easy to read report, highlighting the areas we regard as major concerns. One of our RICS verified professional chartered surveyors will then provide you with their expert advice and opinions on the repairs and defects, and how best to fix them.
