RICS Level 3 Home Survey
The RICS Level 3 Home Survey, also known as a Building Survey, is the most comprehensive survey option that is suitable for all property types. It is ideal for older properties and properties with non-standard construction. We believe this survey is the best option for understanding what you are buying, whatever the property age or type. This is because your surveyor will inspect the interior and exterior of the property, including areas that are difficult to access.
Your surveyor will then write a report highlighting any potential issues or defects. We will include advice on reparations, including estimated costs. You can then use this information to proceed with the transaction. The report will contain in-depth information that is tailored to the property type and your needs.
Valuation Report
You would require a Valuation Report for many reasons, including divorce proceedings or Capital Gains Tax. Your surveyor will consider the property type and location to determine an accurate market valuation of your property. This can then be referred to in legal documentation and give you a better idea of what to expect if you are planning to sell the property.
