This was the cheapest quote I could find to do a level 3 survey. We are very impressed with the service provided. RICS Home Survey Level 2
The RICS Home Survey Level 2 is suitable for the majority of homes built in the last 50 years or so and in good condition. Your survey report will give you an idea of the overall condition of the home and any issues found. There will also be recommendations for any required work. Formerly known as a Homebuyers Survey, this is one of the more popular survey types for homebuyers.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
Recommended for older or unusual homes or those in poor condition, this is a more thorough survey than Level 2. Previously called a Building Survey, it is also suitable for period properties and those that have had extensive work. Your survey will conduct a comprehensive inspection of the home, highlighting any issues or required work in your survey report. This allows you to make an educated decision on the property purchase.
Snagging Survey
Designed for newly built properties, a snagging survey can highlight any unfinished work or defects in a new build home. Your surveyor will run through a list of areas to check everything has been finished to a high standard. Any issues found can be then taken to the property developer to be rectified.
Party Wall Survey
Our team is well positioned to provide advice, to both people undertaking works (Building Owner) and those people affected (Adjoining Owner) when it comes to Party Wall matters. An experienced Party Wall Surveyor is necessary to ensure that the correct notices and paperwork are put into place before work on a Party Wall starts.
