RICS Level 2 Home Survey
The RICS Level 2 Home Survey, also known as the HomeBuyers Report, is the most popular survey type. The focus of this survey is to assess the general condition of the main elements of a property. This intermediate level of services includes a more extensive visual inspection of the building, its services and grounds. The report objectively describes the different elements' conditions and assesses the relative importance of the defects and problems.
Any issues that are detected will also come with some concise reparation advice. There may also be a recommendation for any further investigations that need to be carried out. The survey is best suited for newer properties and homes with standard construction.
