The RICS Home Survey Level 2 is also known as the HomeBuyers Report. This is a basic survey that doesn't go into the same level of detail as the RICS Building Survey, and for this reason, may not be suitable for your property. Generally, a HomeBuyer Report is adequate for modern properties built with traditional methods and materials, and the RICS Building Survey is suitable for older or non-conventional properties.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
The RICS Home Survey Level 3, also known as a Full Structural Survey is perfect for giving home buyers a comprehensive report on the structural condition of the property. This includes technical information, major defects, and the cost and maintenance implications of these highlighted issues. The RICS Building Survey is the most comprehensive property survey available and will be performed by our qualified RICS chartered surveyor. The RICS Building Survey is designed for older properties, unconventional homes, or Listed buildings, on account of the level of detail that goes into the reports.
