Compare House ClearanceRICS Home Survey Level 2
Formerly known as a Homebuyer report, the RICS Home Survey Level 2 is designed to give an overview of the property you are looking to buy. This level of survey is best suited to homes in good condition, those built in the last 50 years or so and built of conventional materials and methods.
Any obvious concerns or required repairs will be highlighted in your report, in addition to identifying issues such as damp.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
The RICS Home Survey Level 3, previously called a Building Survey, is a much more thorough inspection of the property. This is recommended for older homes or those in poor condition, in addition to properties made of unconventional materials and/or methods and homes with extensive work completed on them.
Following the survey you will be provided with a comprehensive report on the home, detailing all concerns and potential issues, recommendations for remedial work or updating aspects of the home, in addition to a review of the grounds.
