RICS Home Survey Level 2
The RICS Home Survey Level 2, previously known as the HomeBuyers Report, is the most popular survey option available. It is suitable for most property types but is especially suited to modern properties and buildings with standard construction. This intermediate survey includes an inspection of the interior and exterior of the property and is followed up with a report that highlights any issues found that could affect the value of the property.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
The RICS Home Survey Level 3, previously known as the Building Survey, is the most comprehensive and detailed survey available. It is suitable for all property types and is recommended for older and historical properties and buildings with non-standard construction. Your surveyor will carry out a thorough inspection of the interior and exterior of the property, including areas that are difficult to access. They will write up a report that delves into any issues, offering advice on reparations.
Valuation Report
The Valuation Report is not a structural survey. Your surveyor will consider the property's location and condition to determine an accurate market value. This service can be added to your survey and are also useful for any court proceedings such as probate.
