Review:Fantastic and affordable removal company!
We used Eatons to move our two bedroom house in Chislehurst to our new three bedroom house in Oxford. We paid for removal, full packing and dismantling and reassembling service. And it really was as simple as hand in the keys at 7:30am to a full unpacked house. Then meet the removal team at our new place after lunch where I relaxed whilst they speedily unpacked and reassembed. End to end the whole job took from 7:30am - 4pm. All our fragile items were well packed. And the ones I pointed out that were sentimental they also took great care of. Everything arrived in the shape we'd left it, no breaks / cracks etc. The three men who were doing the moving were friendly and approachable. Also, Terry was great to deal with. We were organising our move on rather short notice, and he was prompt at coming around the same day I called him to look at the property and give us a quote. He was good at responding to my raft of questions, and also informed me about their level of insurance which was good. Everything ran like clock work on the day which lead to a relaxing first night in our new home.A I would highly recommend this removal company to others.Dartford

Review:Underestimated size of van required, some damage and some items left behind so that we had to move them ourselves. More concerned with getting us to transfer money urgently into his account before job was complete. Very negative experience.

Review:Steer clear. Excuses of what they can't do. Took money off my mother to plumb a washing machine in. "We can't do it" took me 2 minutes to do it.
Response:
Very disappointing to receive such a misleading review. We weren't asked to plumb a washing machine in but we did disconnect one. We removed doors to get huge sofas out of a cottage and had to carry them across a difficult rear garden as access was so restricted. On arrival at the new even smaller flat, the sofas simply would not fit in, which is beyond our control. Despite best efforts and a considerable amount of time trying, we had to return the sofas to the original cottage. On completion of the job, when we got back to the cottage, the lady did give me A?10 but I assumed this was a 'tip' for the lads. At no time was plumbing in the washing machine mentioned but we would have gladly done so, if asked. There were different people at each of the properties so maybe there was a breakdown in communications. Jason, who has posted the review, was not present at either address so we contacted him by phone to advise that the sofas would not fit. We have over 20 years experience and 5* ratings and consistently good reviews on other sites so this unfair review is particularly disappointing.Dartford

Review:We moved over two days. We had the packing service provided by Eaton's, which took a considerable amount of stress off. They could have spread the workload a bit better over the two days as day 2 (moving day) was quite heavy-going.Overall, friendly people and very competitive price.

Review:We had a call from Terry to arrange our quote and we had no idea what to expect. Terry arrived and was so very polite and reassuring. We immediately knew he was the removal firm for us. On the day, we had two of the most amazing men that were relentlessly working in the heat and packing everything up. They were careful and courteous, always, and extremely respectful. Absolutely will never use another firm for ours or our families removals. Well done Eatons.
