Overall I wasna??t thoroughly satisfied with this company, I specifically had asked them to check the drainage system on the property but they couldna??t give me a satisfaction answer or when I spoke to them on the phone couldna??t really even offer me an opinion. I understand that it is mostly a visual inspection . For the money they charge they should do better.

The survey report includes colour pictures, and repair instructions with cost estimates. It is written in a clear understandable language. I needed some clarifications and they responded via email in 2 days.
Availability was good, survey was performed 1 week after paying.
Initial quote email did not include the sample report, which they should do by default, as it's a good sample report and saves back-and-forth, because some other companies provide a report in their initial quote emails.
The surveyour has discovered some issues I was not aware of before, one of them critical, so it's worth the money.
One thing they could improve is email response times or provide a phone number to call - I was emailing with at least 3 different people and was not sure who's responsible for what.

Survey price is competitive but I would pay a little extra to have a registered engineer as the surveyor, which could save you money with a potential structural survey.

RICS Home Survey Level 2
We're proud to provide the most popular RICS survey, the RICS Home Survey Level 2 or Homebuyers Survey. This is a mid-tier survey suitable for most UK houses and is formatted in a clear, standardised way. The report is jargon-free and allows buyers to have a clear and informed understanding of any potential structural issues with a property.
Our Chartered Surveyors undertake a detailed survey of the internal and external parts of the house and are suitable mainly for conventional properties. A clear 'traffic light' system rates the defects in order of severity, and the report contains professional advice on addressing any structural issues.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
Our RICS accredited Level 3 Survey is the most in-depth and comprehensive report you can have on any prospective home. This survey type was once known as the Building Survey or Full Structural Survey. Our Chartered Surveyors are RICS regulated and will produce a thorough report detailing all areas of the property both internally and externally. The RICS Home Survey Level 3 is perfect for prospective homeowners looking for a detailed investigation of an older or unusual property, or for homeowners with particular concerns about a structural issue. Our Chartered Surveyors can create bespoke reports to meet your exact requirements and address specific issues you may have.
Any defects will be detailed, with professional explanations about how to address the issues and any costs involved. The report will allow you to budget maintenance and repair work on your property, and unveil hidden defects which may cost in the future. This survey is particularly important for buildings constructed in unconventional materials, heavily extended buildings, and listed properties that may face unique challenges for ongoing maintenance.
Valuations
We also provide property valuations for a variety of requirements and these are carried out by RICS registered valuers. A valuation is suitable for any property.
One of our experienced valuers will look at the overall size, condition and presentation of the building as a whole, as well as individual rooms. External elements including gardens, outbuildings and car parking facilities are also taken into account. Features or defects that significantly impact the property value will be highlighted in the valuation report.
