RICS Home Survey Level 2
The RICS Home Survey Level 2, also known as the HomeBuyers Report, is an intermediate home survey that is suitable for most properties. Best suited for modern properties and homes with standard construction, your surveyor will inspect the interior and exterior of the property. They will then write up a report that highlights any issues that can affect the value of the property. Any defects will be clearly indicated thanks to the traffic light system and your surveyor will be on hand to answer any queries you may have.
RICS Home Survey Level 3
The RICS Home Survey Level 3, also known as the Building Survey, is the most comprehensive survey available. Suitable for all property types, it is best suited for those purchasing older properties and homes with non-standard construction. Your surveyor will carry out a thorough inspection of the interior and exterior of the property, including areas that are difficult to access. They will then write up a highly detailed report that highlights any defects and offers advice on repairs and an estimated reparation cost.
