    Very sales orientated, cheapest but no photos and did not look at drains because of screwed down covers even when the home owner could of removed. so had to go there myself.

    I was contacted by Countrywide, they asked me more questions than others. They had a surveyor local to me. Less than an hour after booking I got e mail saying it was booked for following day. At 09:30 I was called by the surveyor who was outside the house and we discussed any specific concerns I might have. About 13:00 she called back, apologised for the delay and gave me a summary. The next morning I received a full over 50 page report. This is my experience with a local surveyor and others may vary as they are a national company. Tip, ask your vendors if they have spray foam loft insulation, you could save a lot of money.

    Very friendly and supportive employees. Person who initially made and maintained contact prior to survey being booked gave good advice. Surveyor called before and after their inspection and talked me through the highlights of what theyd found. Happy customer

    Excellent service, the survey was very thorough. Regarding any issues raised in the report that I had concerns about the surveyor came straight back to me to discuss directly. I would highly recommend. A very quick turnaround also. I received the report the day after the surveyor attended.

    Very unprofessional company. I am making a complaint about my Home Buyers Survey Level 2 received from this company.Before booking with this company I asked the sales person, several times, if my report would include photos.He said yes. I also asked for a sample of the kind of report I would receive. I was swiftly emailed a report that included photos.With that assurance, I booked this company. I was shocked when I received my report minus photos. I called the company and they listened to my original call. They confirmed that I had asked for photos but I was told that there was nothing they could do.I will now make an official complaint because I did not get the service that I paid for. This is false advertising, misleading and misrepresentation! Avoid this company at all costs.

    Had survey done then when it all came back there was so many places they could not check so what was the point of having one done i got another company in to do it properly and they did a better job

    Misleading comments made regarding asbestos testing. Over priced. The initial quote suggested they would 'test' for asbestos within the house. Even though their quote was 130 greater than others, I went with countrywide because of this. A second phone call confirmed they would go around the house testing for asbestos. Following the survey, they advised that the 'testing' only means visually looking for it. When challenged, they advised they had not mislead and refused to adjust the price. The survey itself didn't raise anything more than what was already known about the property.Not worth the additional money.

    Very efficient. Helpful advise given, survey carried out within few days of booking and report recieved by email day after survey was carried out. Even recieved a telephone call checking I understood the survey and asked if I needed anything explaining. Would certainly recommend this company. Customer service people lovely.

    Great initial communication and on the day. However, the report seemed very basic in what was written. Basically anything that can be inspected visually. I was offered a free valuation but they simply wrote how much we were paying for the property - didnt seem much like a valuation. I did chase up on this along with some other query but never heard back. So if someone asked for my advice- i'd say save yourself the 400 quid.

    Found the company very professional. Competitive pricing, survey was arranged within the next few days and they fully worked around difficult access (Tennant in situ in the property). Thorough survey and when I had a few questions they made sure the surveyor called me too make sure I was clear on findings. This survey has lead too other necessary investigative work being carried out before the exchange of contracts and I am truly greatful for the service provided, otherwise would have potentially bought an unsuitable house. On the day, the survey messaged me too ask about any specific concerns they wanted me too look into etc. No pushy sales either, didn't phone too make an appointment for over a week and didn't receive constant phone calls and emails which was really appreciated. Would use again and highly recommend.

    They were okay, as did the survey very fast , only there customer services took long to even answer calls and they seem to be into getting the client to make decisions fast and prompt to take fees as soon as possible.

    Great initially, we did have to chase them up, but at the moment with staff shortages being experienced by all businesses and normal service interruptions due to the pandemic, it's a bit of an expectation. After that, everything's gone well!
