    The report was incorrect, referring to a different floor of the apartment. When I emailed them they said after a proper investigation it was me who was wrong as I did not understand the difference between a second floor and a second level.Not only was I shocked but quite insulted by their response. Eventually they agreed they were at fault and amended the written report but failed to replace the pictures with correct ones.I now have a report for a second floor flat with external pictures of the first floor flat.Shocking performance.

    Customer service was not great, they booked in for a date despite me advising they needed to contact the estate agent and seller to agree on a date and time. They then left the seller a voicemail with 2 hours notice before the surveyor arrived at the property which they did not pick up and so they were not prepared for them. The report and follow up from the surveyor was great however.

We did have some difficulties getting in touch with the vendor and did call them every day from the day you booked with us without success including over the weekend. As your survey was booked on the Friday for the Monday, timescales were tight and not being able to get in touch with the vendor resulted in the unfortunate outcome, which we wouldn't usually allow to happen.I am pleased to hear though that you were happy with the report and follow up from our surveyor, Grace.Apologies for the issues and thank you very much for your valued custom.kind regards Kay

    The appointed surveyor claimed to have carried out a comprehensive level 3 building survey, however the product received was nothing like it should be.Missed issues (such as single skin construction walls not identified) vague recommendations (ceilings to be replaced- not specified which ones) head up loft inspection despite it being boarded and perfectly safe, shoddy and alarmist description of major issues (described cracks as significant movement likely to be inadequate footings- recommissioned inspection identified cracks as neglible/ slight (using standard RICS coding) and a result of poor drainage.No way was this a level 3 survey, superficial, shoddy and misleading so much so it nearly made me walk away from house purchase.Still in complaint handling but no sign of complaint procedure despite asking several times.

    Stuart was amazing. Very quick response to do survey. Personally rang after completing survey to give an overview of his findings. Report sent within 3 working days which was very fast. Report was very informative and thorough.

    It was really quick and easy to book our survey with HouzeCheck. We booked in on the Friday and they attended the following Tuesday as planned - we received the report 2 days later so a really quick turn around and very detailed and informative report. Very happy, would recommend!!

    Considering Houzecheck wasnt the most expensive quote we received. The report was so thorough and we were pleasantly surprised. I messaged David personally with some concerns on the work that was required he replied instantly and stuck to his word by ringing back by the end of the day. He was very knowledgeable and answered every question and concern I had. I felt confident to discuss my issues with the seller. It has enabled us to continue with the sale but know exactly what work is required by getting quotes and the price of the house to reflect accordingly. I cannot fault Houzecheck. I would definitely recommend to others and use this company again in the future.

    This company were 1st class kept me informed on every step of the way. Ringing me to confirm arrangements made to visit property, ringing when at property and ringing me after visited with verbal report. Full written report arrived within the period that was quoted. It was a full and Precise report with photos and advice where necessary. Excellent service would recommend them to anyone.

    Value for money was great - HouzeCheck were the cheapest offer by quite a long way. Service was overall good with prompt replies by email and quick updates.Only thing that could have been better is it would have been nice to receive a little more communication on the day - eg. i had to request to speak to the surveyor whereas i've heard of other surveyors proactively calling up their clients to discuss the property after they had seen it.Speaking to the surveyor was really useful though and promptly organised.
